Day 5 was so bomb. I pineapple my hair for half of the first day until it's about 60 - 70% dry, then let it down to let the rest dry. I found out that's an easy way for me to stretch my wash n go for length
Thank you!!❤️❤️ and I may have to try that one day! Do you have a looser curl pattern? I think I always overlook pineappling because my coils are tiny and idk if they’ll stretch out right but it may work out still!
@@TyJalayahRobertson my curl pattern is actually tighter, I use a mixture for my wash n go's my leave in is kinky curly knot today mixed with equal parts of mixed chicks kids leave in (my hair hates the adult one), and I use the kinky curly curling custard ( I keep them in the refrigerator & sit them in ice while I'm applying to each section ( my hair seems to define better when the product is cold). I put oil on in the shower, and after everything is completely dry just to make it nice & soft.
Sis, I liked all of them. It's late here. I will stretch mine in the morning for maybe an hour or so. That should be enough for me. I have thin hair. And rock it the style no matter how it comes out! I am loving my wash and go's!
Hair all week was gorgeous 🙌🏾 I love day 3 because it was the perfect balance of volume, stretch, and definition! Loved how the style changed throughout the week. Definitely going to give this method a try
If you're not getting definition try the expensive curling products along with eco... I guarantee you your curls will pop. I was the same until I finally decided to stop being cheap.
I loved the stretched look, in fact, the amount of stretch you achieved was dramatic! I liked Day 1 the most but each day thereafter your hair looked good and still maintained a stretched state. You taught me something new, I’m going to try this banding on dry hair method to see if it’ll work for me. Thanks!
I liked day 5 also. There was definition and that great shape. I have that shrinkage also and it is frustrating, because my hair is going well and I want to show off the length. Thank you for showing me this method.
FINALLY someone with hair like mine!!! My hair looks exactly like yours after when I do a wash and go. I was getting discouraged because although I had the definition, my hair was little 😂. I would fluff it and pick it, but it was still not as eliminated and voluminous as I would’ve liked. I’m trying this method tonight and praying for similar results. Your hair is gorgeous and so are you! Beautiful job!!!

I need to take a break from having to pineapple my hair after a wash till 60% dry then letting hang for a wash n go to this banding. Day 1 and day 5 are my favourite! Definitely gonna try it out!
This is how I stretch my hair but I don’t like to leave it in overnight because it becomes too stretched. Like you said it loses its “wash and go look”. Instead I’ll leave it in for only a couple hours if not less
The fact that my hair type shrinkage does make me look almost bold head when I do a wash and go.... Myy hair is at my color bone so.....I understand the shrinkage is veryyyyyyyyyyy real...😂😂
Of the millions of natural hair videos I've watched yours is one of the BEST! What brand of hair bands do you recommend? They look very silky and won't cause breakage. Thanks for the video!

Just use bio carbonated soda and lemon juice it helped me a lot, hair becomes so soft I wish I had known earlier, I had problems with my hair just like yours.
Your hair is Gorgeous! I love the 2nd day's results. Have you ever tried stretching your hair w/a blow dryer? I see that is the thing now. I want to try it but care for the heat on my hair

Love this video you are so delightful to watch. All the days looked great! I tried banding my wash and gos for stretch but my ends would always SSK. So now I twist the ends. My 4a-c hair prefers braid and twistouts but maybe one day things will be different
Awww 😊 Thank you so much!!💕 and you’re right about the SSK, my hair is the same because it shrinks up a lot also. Twistouts and braid outs are so much more helpful when it comes to avoiding those fairy knots forsure! Lol
Honestly after I take the bands off I think my hair looks UGLY🤣💀 I'm like wth, but I find that my hair "settles" and my curls plump up again but still stay elongated. I stretch my hair nightly as well because my hair will shrink right back up.
Your banding method has a lot more defined than how I do it .. unfortunately it leaves indentations on my hair that completely ruins the style .. I'm going to try smaller hairbows though .. I love your day 5 look 😍

Could I use my blow dryer to stretch it a bit more when I take it out of the bands? I hate how my hair is almost at my shoulders, but when I wash it, it shrinks so much it looks like I big chopped! Thanks for the nice and helpful video btw!
