To add to this. In the World Map dispatch missions, it's better to get missions for S-APT boxes than Fusion Core Fragments, the same 8 hours missions usually give 1 core fragment or 2 boxes, and considering that you can convert 5 S-APT cores or 5 fragments for a Fusion Core, it's more efficient to get the boxes. On the same page, it's even better to get missions for Simulation Tickets, because you can get a bunch of S-APT cores in the Air Simulation to convert to Fusion Cores. In the shop, I always buy the 30 quartz extra Air Simulation ticket, you can usually get between 2-4 S-APT cores per ticket, so almost a full Fusion Core per 2 tickets. Now a question, what is the best way to get Special Catalyst? I always ran out of them when making Fusion Cores, and buying them for card gets expensive very fast, and Im not sure how efficient it is to farm for them in the Supply stage
Just buy then in the exchange shop. I ran into the same problem and it was the answer cause even after spending all my business cards for catalysts(an accident) like 2 months ago and buying out the limited things with them I'm sitting at 3.5k currently. With so many free summons and event farming you'll never be short of them to buy out weeklies and monthlies.
Thank you very much for the info! I forgot entirely that we could craft Fusion Cores using mech/soldier/counter cores. Though I'm not much of a min max player I like to spend my resources wisely and not waste them.
Yeah, now I'm convinced that maybe hoarding 2000+ mech and soldier cores isn't the brightest idea I ever had. I'll start converting them into fusion cores since most of my mech and soldiers are fully upgraded. S-apt cores are still not abundant but I'll be fine I guess.
Wow I never thought of doing this. When I'm doing a rearm, I always find myself in a desperate situations, not only that but I don't have plenty of 110 units which is really hassle in Plat rank in my case. Thanks for doing this GR.
GuitarRock, I have a question on upgrading equipment. What’s the best way to upgrade equipment to +10? Buy those upgrade modules, just feed equipment, etc?
I'm pretty sure the reason people don't build Jane Doe that often in global is because they literally haven't even unlocked her side story and can't even get her or they have unlocked her but couldn't be bothered or haven't spent 50 days farming for her frags. Edit: also, 5 S-apt for 1 fusion core is still really expensive even if you're not converting cores since you need 15 fusion cores to limit break once so you need 75 S-APT cores just to limit break once and given the rate global is getting new characters, you really don't have much leeway when you're trying to build everything that comes out. Like just this week alone I had to 5 star Rita, Lucid, Ministra and Spira as well as level their skills to 5 and get them to level 100 and to make things worse, Alex finally decided to show up in my pulls so now I have to do that to her as well because buff removal is actually useful for PvE. I literally just do not have the resources available to me to make fusion cores at the rate I need and even if I did, I don't have nearly enough credits to limit break my characters either. I understand the devs want global to catch up as fast as possible but the rate they're pumping content out is way too fast for most players to catch up with and there's just a massive resource shortage for literally everything even with everything they're giving out.
Yea it’s pretty odd that some players neglect soldiers and mechs, I’ve faced some teams in pvp where it’s only counters and there are times where my soldier units straight up bodies counters especially Rivet ( love that unit) and gets me out of a jam, the same for mechs. Edit: great vid! Very helpful, that’s exactly what I do at times to get those fusion cores, Lately I’ve stopped temporarily because I wanna lvl all of my units to at least 100 and then go back to converting some of my S-ATP cores to the fusion ones. I’m close to reaching that goal 👍
I first started playing around when this guide came out, and it was not easy as a beginner to completely understand, 3 month's later it makes more sense now
soldier and mech really needs to be invested especially if theres a debuff makes counter unplayable example for this is relic dungeon maria's relic in particular
And then there's me that built Coffin-6 and Blue Bridge MK2 because I want to have at least one full soldier and one full mech but don't know where to start...
Lol, let's be real here, new players should not be expected to beat multiple 110 Awaken (especially A Hilde) on Silver rank. Rather they are whales or day 1 players who don't want to rank up makes no difference. So to get to Gold 5 for taskforce, just take a break whenever you run into people you can't beat. Try different times, until you run into people you can beat, or AI (if no one is around). Lv 100 team with junk gear is more than enough this way.
