Another fantastic video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills with us. I noticed that the drywall stack leaning on the wall was not strapped. We have started having to strap all drywall stacks to the walls because of people being crushed to death on construction sites. Is this something you see in your area or was this just overlooked?

So your vapor barrier is on the interior because of the cold climate. Hot climates you do the opposite, correct? Where I live we see 100+ degrees in summer and below freezing in winter. What would the protocol be for my area when there's such a huge temperature swing?
"build tight, ventilate right" -how often should the entire volume of interior air be changed out? I heard 130 CFM from the video for the ERV,, but what does that translate into air-changes-per-hour?
Andrew Theurer it depends on the size of the building and the number of bedrooms/people, but in this project 130 CFM translates to 0.35 ACH (air changes per hour). This turns out to be a good rule of thumb for residential applications.
Great video. I love hearing Ross talk like this. Sometimes on ATOH the topics they have him present on seem more targeted to an older generation that is very common sense and of little value to me.
