Just wow on two counts. Driving and have you ever heard "get me better seats and i will knock off 15 seconds" nice. Would probably add a neck support to stop the helmet head being thrown about. And saftey harness instead of the over the shoulder seat belt. What is the lap price? 995 euro perhaps?
2:02 crossed gantry. 9:42 crossed gantry again. Roughly 8-10 seconds lost to a bit of traffic. 7:3x-ish is damn fast time! What's the record for this year/spec of Porsche?
tbf, the record car was on better tires and had a better wing/wheel aero setup I believe. This car was running Nankang CR-S which are quite good but not as good as the pricier Pilot Cup Sport 2 R that the record car ran.
I don't get how the record time is so much faster. 40 seconds on the ring is equivalent to like 8 seconds on a 1:30 lap which of course is and eternity. Even if you account for worse tires, the weight of the passenger and some safety margin it still seems way too much...?
I put this video up on the 65" screen, ran the audio to the surround system and put on some Ted Nugent (Strangle Hold) just because and jammed out! That's how you wake up in the morning!
