you can call me preachy, but people are confusing emo, metalcore and hardcore to be the same thing. Not attacking you but @ the dressed like a rapper comment, do you realize hardcore was spawned from bands and people from LES, South Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, North NJ and other rough areas. some of the roughest neighborhoods with people of all colors etc.. whether you liked rap or punk/hardcore how you dressed never mattered. Hardcore isn't playing 5 minute breakdowns and punching people.

wow @ some of these responses, did any of you criticizing grow up in the HC scene pre 2000? Going to the pit to hit someone is dumb, normally that will get you cracked quick. HC is a street style of music you will see people dress many different ways. So dressing like a "rapper" is totally fine and acceptable. People gotta really get out there to real shows and see real bands if this is how you think it is. Things have become way too cookie cutter these days.
