Working on making just that…. I’m doing an ultimate IR blaster video…. Stock, bazooka, rabbit labs mini ir blaster, masta blasta, and still have to get the new 17 LED Dtech eye of Horus…. Let me tell you the rabbit labs mini ir blaster here with a case with a lense makes it INCREDIBLEEEEEE I turned off 21 tvs instantly from about 60 feet with no issue! That’s why I want this new 17 led ir blaster because it claims to be the most powerful blaster possible
If you solder the header pins on the back of the board there is less issues with them fitting properly…if anyone was curious about that 😂😊. Thanks for the cool video, Rabbit Labs have my favorite stuff!
Your now my favorite youtuber I love how you cover these topics that ppl like me will never understand 😂and I love how detailed you make it mad respect and I hope to see many videos of your content in the future of all sorts of topics plus also I should be getting a flipper soon I can’t wait to mess around with it!😊
The antenna differences are one is SMA and the other is RP-SMA. RP stands for reverse polarity and by trying to mod it you have a pretty good chance of inducing a pretty high SWR (standing wave ratio) from the mismatched connectors.
You've probably heard this 100 times by now. If so, just dismiss this with a "Yeah, I know guy... (annoyed eye roll)". Otherwise if not, you might consider doing a screen share on your computer, of the qFlipper app. You can stream the video from the flipper in full quality for what's on the screen. even control it from that screen. I've seen a few other folks do this, and it's super nice to see them traverse settings and menu's that way.
Sasquatch, thank you for the video. At 6:25 you mention the “radio settings”, I’m having a hard time finding this menu. If you could clarify I’d be even more grateful. Thanks
@@TalkingSasquach I just got my flipper zero ir blaster today it seems to work but i would like to know how far distance would I have to be for maximum range. Like what’s the furthers I can use it. How many meters or feet away?
@@TalkingSasquach hey i saw another video on youtube where guy modified ir flashlight with optocoupler and gets range up to 150 metres that has zoom in capability and its only 20€ for flashlight, opto and board that you solder it on. Other parts i dont count because i can get those in ewery shop cheaper
I think my got i problem when i go to radio settings i dont have the options ext radio 5v or debug pin or counter inccr i only have module external do you have a fix in the 6:25 i only have module External
Will we do it? No, is it possible? Yes…. If you know how ir blasters work its not that hard… they already flash in a pattern, so its just figuring out how to code the correct frequency of blink and bam
Antennas need to be tuned for the frequency they are transmitting/receiving, the length of the antenna is based on the wavelength itself, so just connecting a bigger antenna may be worse than useless.
An example from ham radio is a basic dipole antenna (think "bunny ears" from an old TV set) where each ear has to be one quarter of the wavelength. Ham radio usually transmits on 2 metres, so each ear will be 50 cm, and the total length will be 1 m. A dipole is different to the antenna you have here, which looks like a monopole antenna, and that would be different again to a yagi-uda antenna (the kind you usually see for TV today) but the sizes are still all based on the wavelength it is intended to tx or rx. Shape is also important, but that's mainly for directionality, the yagi-uda is shaped like that because it is directional, it only receives in the direction it is pointing, so its good for TV where you can aim it in the direction of the transmitter, get good signal, but reject noise from elsewhere.
When i opened up my flipper it looked like it had room for a better ir blaster replacement. Do you think it would be as simple as putting another infrared blaster or infrared led there or is it more complicated than that?
Mines at -69 the 900mhz cc is beast... dont use those tiny antennas, also u always need a male piece antenna for all flipper gpio. I think youd know my g. Also i can't get the ir blaster to work at all! Im using the firmware as requested through rabbit too. Kinda sux
Hello, maybe you can help me.. i have a cc1101 and i have 2 flippers, neither one will recognize it. I have both built one, and bought one assembled, and yet neither of my flippers will recognize them at all.. i turned on 5v in gpio, and when i go to switch to external module, it keeps telling me to insert external module... any help would be greatly appreciated.
The back leds can only be seen with an infrared camera as far as I know. Mines do the same, I thought the back wasn't working because I didn't see no flashing but when I look at the lens with my infrared camera app on my phone you see the light flashing.
It doesn't matter if u say u don't condone moddin or buildin a simple att..made it seem like u build a bomb lol, 😂 everything i do is reverse engineering, meaning shit breaks start all over ,its ok not everything comes out first time..
@@minibikemadman With the amount of cameras everywhere, and electronic records of purchases (and I highly doubt you use an anon currency judging by your question); unless you have an invisibility cloak I would not recommend "testing" "experiments". Just a tip. "Testing" "experiments" isn't going to fly in court haha.
it is fake, yes doorbell will copy, but the car signal well copy too but to replay the signal it wont open. it is fake, not recommended to buy. fake useless. lot fake video on youtub be aware - it will not copy cards or any worth in your way.
