One of the best well thought out kits I have seen. Thanks for sharing it with us. I’m an EDC fanatic for the past 30 years. I’m always trying to build the perfect kit. I think my wife is ready to have me baker acted. I am subscribing to your Chanel now.
Wow very nice kit. I have a micro as well and I’m blown away by how much it will hold! One small suggestion if I may? Medical supplies of some sort. I carry a couple 2 x 2 gauze pads and a couple bandaids. Just the very basic just in case of a small injury. Of course being a paramedic my mind set goes that direction anyway, but thought I’d share that suggestion. Loved your kit and I feel I need to find that tiny mechanical pencil now!!
Hi there, thanks so much for the suggestions, I really do need to get a few small medical supplies in there. I'm pleased you love your Micro as well, such a great bit of kit. The pencil is called an Ohto Minimo, hope that helps.
Very well thought out kit with high quality items. You did a good job on assembling this. I've seen thousands of videos on EDC pouches, most of them with nonsense stuff but with this here I agree with every item. Seems that you have put a lot of thoughts in it and have experience with EDC and tools. Would be great to see more videos from you! Cheers from Germany!
This is a genius kit. A lot of people know how to fit small items in but not in a way that's useful or effective. Your kit actually is leagues above those 'Altoid tin' kits in that everything has a use and practicality. You also make a really great point about the Leatherman bits. It's so true. If you lost one bit, you're SOL. I personally shifted away from Leatherman bits as well because they get mangled pretty easily (compared to Wiha or Wera bits), they also don't have as much force because it's half the size (they just don't feel as locked in), and it's actually pretty cumbersome to take each bit out and use on a clunky multitool when it's much easier to use a driver instead. I love how you did that cork thing. It's just so next level. And the way you labeled everything is just so eloquent. Also the WD40 idea seems so damn genius as well but I'll admit I'm scared to try that. :P
Hi there, Thanks very much for your kind message, I've moved putting my kit together and I get plenty of use out of it, I've made a lot of changes since this video so I'll probably upload a new one soon. The WD40 is still holding up ok so far 😂 Cheers
Knipex pliers are my most used tool at work working on chemical tankers. When you adjust them just right they work like a ratchet and make the job very quick and the angled teeth get the same grip as the old fashioned pipe wrenches. I've put cheater bars on my larger ones and put a ton of torque on them and I've still not had any break. I have that mini knipex plier and I never thought of adding it to my edc but I definitely will now. Nice kit you have put together!
I love hearing about gear being put to proper use, I can't say I've put mine up to a proper test but I can tell they'd be able to handle anything, cheers for watching.
i have the cobra xs and i’m waiting for the wrench pliers xs (ordered over a month ago) to decide which one to use as a slingshot. I found a 1/4” square to 1/4” hex locking bit holders and I plan to weld them to the tips of the handle of one of the pliers so that it’s more of a multi tool but also so I have a really fast way to attach slingshot bands. I really like the knife holder thing, i’m probably going to do that to whichever pliers I don’t Frankenstein. And I’ve been strongly considering a small pouch. something I’m looking for is a bright rechargeable flashlight which I can use as an emergency battery bank to recharge my phone so that it’s still practical to carry in the daytime.
Oh nice, it would be great to see how the Frankenknipex come out once you've chosen which one to do. A good extensive pouch is definitely something that's worth carrying in my opinion. The torch idea is a brilliant one, I'm not sure I've ever seen one with that functionality before, hopefully someone brings it out.
I came in because your kit is interesting, but you have such a pleasant voice. You could probably do other type of videos narrating in addition to EDC.
You can actually slip a couple longer zip ties on the inside of the bag. Going around everything slipped inside the fold of the bag. Just slip it inside yhe fold with the seam. If you understand what I mean? It wont even be seen that way. I`ve had it for several years.
Wonderful Tailored items for your Organizer !! You gave me some good ideas. Thanks for that. 2:16 ..The Flashlight Nitcortip SE 700 lumen...does it run on AAA batteries or a specialty battery ?? 4:14 ...I always put some duct tape over my Bic lighter triggers, to prevent the trigger from accidently being pressed in the kit. 5:27.. Excellent creative PS on the DIY cork holder that fits perfectly in the Cobra Pliers 10:33..been using regular 50 cent, paper pocket notebooks for field notes, for decades and never had an issue with rain (A simple custom cut to size ziplok baggie works perfectly)....Everyone is buying up these $30cad Rite In Rain Notebooks ...and they rarely use them...lol. It baffles me. Rhodia has a good GSM Paper. Suggestion : add a small Ziplock baggie with bandaids and a straw tube of Polysporin triple strength for a Booboo Kit. Cheers !! Happy New Year to you.
Hi there, Thanks so much for the feedback and the tips, the Nitrcore has a built in LI battery which I'm able to charge using the power bank inside the kit, there is a similarly sized/shaped Royvon called the E3 which takes a AAA but it's just a touch too big for my kit. I like your recommendation for some antibiotic cream, we don't have that in the UK but I will definitely add some antiseptic to the kit if I find some room. Cheers and happy new year to you too
It's the biggest toolkit ever! Big like & thanks for a good ideas! Only 1 think no like (no problem) a nano spiderco knives, no its not good. But how you made a little holder, the greatest! Thanks for all ideas!
Hi there, Thanks for your kind words, I've made lots of improvements since this video. I agree about the SpyderCo, it's not a super useful tool but it comes in handy at times. Cheers
A replacement for the Victorinox bit ratchet could be a Prestacycle or Topeak bit ratchet. In the States, a couple other brands like the Power Torque bit ratchet sold at O'Reilly Auto Parts can be found. The Icon Bit ratchet from Harbor Freight might be preferred by some. You've got a good bit of kit there! Thanks for sharing!
Hi there, Thanks very much for the suggestions for the ratchet driver replacement, I've been thinking about replacing it for a while but still can't bring myself to replace it yet, I just had a look at your suggestions and they all look perfect. Cheers
Great setup, it does inspired me to make small but very functional EDC like yours. I used to maxed out my Vanquest EDCM Husky for EDC (inside my backpack). Your setup is great for on body carry...thanks for sharing 👍🏽👍🏽
Not a bad way to go I went a little different with mine in my video but great stuff man. I’m glad tool kits are becoming more popular. Hope to see your channel continue to grow man.
The only thing I might look at upgrading is your ratchet to either the topeak rocket lite ratchet or the Granite Rockwell mini ratchet same size and shape but better bit retention and a selector switch instead of flipping the ratchet over they’re practically Identical aside from a few pieces you see them come with so I’d go with whatever you can a find a better deal on.
Thanks very much for the feedback and suggestions, both of those ratchets look like top upgrades on the Victorinox one so I'll check them out properly. Just about to head over and watch your kit video now 👍. Cheers
Something to think about a glue stick (they do not leak and they work with a lighter) and a little bit of bank line or some spiderwire fishing line and a needle. A little bit of 25 gauge floral wire goes a long way to temporarily holding hot items. (I have used multiple wraps of it to hold up mufflers till I could get a proper part). Just somethings to think about.
Some really great suggestions there, thanks. I will try and find a spot for a glue stick and some wire as those would definitely be handy additions. I have made quite a few changes to the kit since the video and it does now include some fishing line and a needle amongst many other things
The Spyderco in the cork is very good idea. Have you considered a Spyderco like a manbug or similar and reducing or removing the cork insert? Very nice kit, great job.
I did consider a larger knife but the tolerances are so tight that the Spyderco Bug is about the largest knife that will fit, the Spyderco Honeybee would have fitted without the cork but then it wouldn't stay in position when the pouch is closed.
You need a compass. Maybe you could get rid of the nail clippers. I think that you have scissors and a file already. Maybe a map of your local area, make sure you know how to get home with the compass from any direction. You can by a flat head light for $1.00(if need be take their strap off and replace with a narrow piece of elastic) then your hands are free. The small tool to turn water on from the outside of business (I forgot what it’s called). A small can of gel mace. You may have to pick and choose, and swap out some things that you have, to make the best kit for your needs. I love the battery pack that you carry. I have one in my backpack, but, I need one in that is on me at all times. I have the paracord bracket. You gave me some ideas of something’s that I need to improve my body pack. Maybe I gave you and your viewers some also. Take care my friend, and God bless. 😁 ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Cracking setup you've got there! I also carry a Maxpedition Micro organiser that I have crammed full of stuff, would love to share it with you as it may give you some ideas (as indeed your video has given me). Out of interest, what is the brand of powerbank you're using?
Hi there, thanks for watching, would be great to see your set up as well, I'm always looking for ideas. The powerbank is by a brand called PowerRush but I think they've since been discontinued.
Really great kit you have there. Thanks for sharing. What was originally in the tin before you adopted it for battery, drugs etc.? You are a bit quiet. Your video would benefit from turning the levels up a bit. I use Levelator for the Mac.
Hi there, the tin was actually bought specifically for this purpose, I picked it up off eBay for about £1.50, thanks very much for the suggestion about the video volume, I'll try and address this in future videos.
Hi there, The electrical tape setup is just two different types of insulation tape re-rolled onto a short piece of wooden dowel, the WD-40 bottle is actually a small supermarket sushi tray bottle which has been repurposed. Cheers
2:40 in the back here as well we have some oversized Condoms for my big ass D 😂 Nice EDC tho I really enjoyed it but I want to recommend you to the Rolling Square inCharge Mini Charger Cable wich is basically every adapter you may need. Micro usb, usb c lightning USB A all packed in a really small formfactor I am really happy with mine. ✌🏻
Hi there, I have tried that before but unfortunately it's so tightly packed that it wouldn't close properly, I have since found a solution for duck tape which is wrapping it around a spool attached to the handle. Cheers
Thanks very much, there is only the tiny little Spyder Co and the Utility knife, they do the job for my needs, I no longer carry the blade in the utility knife though due to UK law. Cheers
So many of these kits are nothing more than pocket jewelry for a lot of people with the fancy decorative pry bars and such a that’s are useless. At least this one has some knipex pliers which would actually be useful.
Hi there, thanks very much. The little tin is off eBay and should come up if you search 'slide top tin', I added the lettering with an old vinyl cutting machine, similar to a cricut. Cheers
Hi there, thanks very much, the utility knife is a titanium utility knife which is usually sold unbranded so you have to search for terms like 'mini titanium utility knife' on Google, it can often be found under a brand called Exceed design and is known as the TI-rant razor M. I am going to be investigating selling some myself and I will post a link to my website if I do so. Cheers
Hi there, The labels are made with an old Roland Stika vinyl cutter that I already owned off eBay, you can get similar results with transparent labels from a label printer though.
Hi mate, unfortunately I bought it from my local hardware store a fair while ago and it doesn't have any branding on the case, I have seen similar things online under the brand 'Miady' though, hope that helps.
Hi there, thanks very much for your kind comments and sub. Unfortunately I bought the powerbank at my local hardware store in the clearance section and I haven't been able to find the same one since. Cheers

Notice everything looks new. I keep a 3” ruler and a condom in my wallet, a keychain Swiss Army knife on my keys and a leatherman rebar in my pocket. ‘
Hi there, Sorry for the super late reply, I found this on I think eBay a while ago but they do often go by the name Exceed Designs TIrant M so it's worth searching that on Google. Cheers
