Thanks Matt🙏 Yep I keep it topped up when driving and use my build in system for everything but the AC and I can be off grid with no solar for a week I don’t say anywhere for more than 3 or 4 days so it work well for us but in summer the 350w portable solar panel helps too 👍 thanks for watching 🙏👍😁
Just ordered the mxr3500 for my day van can’t wait to try it out I’m more of a wild camper so I shouldnt piss anyone off with the noise as I’m not a fan of camp sites when ive got wilderness on my doorstep here in Cumbria
Ive just bought a 3500 duel fuel and I'm going to run it on LPG from the BBQ point on my van, I've got the similar power bank mine is a power oak one with the solar panels, i need mine to power the AC when im abroard, i went all around Europe a few weeks ago and the temperatures were unreal, so hot my milenco levelers melted 😂
I have bought a blackline inverter generator, its got a fob start and also 53 db and 4Kw ready for the power cuts this winter, also stocked up on paraffin for my heater cooker just incase
@@onemanandhiswhippet the make is Blackline and this brand is in America, there is a Rally car shop in Britain that sells them and loads have recommend them and compared them up against Honda etc, its made in China by the looks of it so I asked the shop that sells them do the sell spare parts and they said yes… Also I think the shop that sells them in America have most probably asked China to produce them to a high standards and this what happens… It cost £634 as I had the fob start one also they make great quality smaller ones. Also you have a cool youtube name haha, I used to keep lurchers and the pit-bull x greyhound type they was awesome workers but took some handling.
21:04 🏃🏼♀️ 🤣🤣🤣😀🍷🍺😃 A great review Dave....My parents are interested in a solar generator for emergency purposes. They are considering a solar home instilation or a portable option. Could you do a video on how you use your portable solar generators when your power is down in the future, thank you. Don't feel pressured to make said video if you don't want to 😊....Hello Jo, Louie & Rosie 💜
Hi Kat we are all good thanks hope things are good for you too 💕 the solar generators are great for using in the uk when you get a power cut and it just a case of plugging things into them But I will cover this in an other video for you 👍 Take care and best regards Dave, Jo and them skinny dogs 🙏😁👍
@@onemanandhiswhippet 🤣🤣 true! Power 🔋 💪...yes all good thank-you...and hope you're loving life in the countryside...nice triumph...ive just bought a new_ old bike..80mpg 😀
Yep they are but they are 350w and good Quality but not 100 waterproof if you have a big Solar generator you need lots of solar to change it hope that helps 🙏👍😁
Great video, am I the only one to say that a generator does my head in at a camping spot,it's all nice and quiet then out it comes, positioned away from there van and pointed towards everyone else, there goes the peace and quiet. Not really a thing for stealth camping.
A major problem with lithium batteries is there life span compared to relying on petrol generators. My ebike battery lasted just under two years. And I hadn't miss treated it.
This is a great review, and really well explained on how to use them. One day, hope to try one of the those, and yes would be great if they would make the solar panels etc waterproof. Thank you :)
I am worried about the gas :( great vlog buddy. There both amazing generators. They work so well I’ve been looking at one of those electric hob ♥️ Such a beautiful home 💙 love your bike 💕 bless Louie and Rosie and jo ♥️♥️♥️
@@onemanandhiswhippet I am worried I have just under a full bottle so hopefully be ok but I need to try and get a spare or il have to get one and run it off a cheap inverter :( Bless Louie and Rosie at the end and bless jo 🤗♥️
Shame you have titled the videio as "MaXpeedingrods MXR 3300W Generator or Bluetti AC200MAX For Vanlife?", but you are reviewing a MXR 5000. Ive just purchaced the MXR 3300 awaiting delivety of it in a few days hence noticing this while looking for extra reviews on the 3300 one.
Personally i would stick with petrol kr diesel or multi fuel gas generators. These solar only work in good sunlight are ver expensive to boot. So you need a way to charge them . Petrol diesel being more versatile can use them anywhere easily.
Hi Man, I've just bought a maxpeedingrods mxr3500, literally out of the box 30 minutes ago. Now, I'm confused as the user manual says it must be earthed but other reviews and yours are not showing the unit earthed. Which is correct may I ask? 🤔 thanks. Cliff.
Hi Cliff it can be used unearthed but it is safe if it is linked to an simple earthing spiking into the ground I don’t bother tho I just ensure it’s not used in wet conditions and my electrical tools are well insulated 👍 hope that helps 👍
