@lawfulGiraffe thank you for the review.. You are looking pretty good bro.. keep putting in the work! :).. I know you are not a bag fan of the app.. but in our next update we will add the capability of customers to add their own workouts/videos that they create.. so it should be more useful for users. Also, we will be expediting your upper pads to you this weekend.. direct message or emails us if you have a special address you want us to send those pads to.
Thank you, this means a lot. It's great to meet a company that keeps It's customers informed and up to date. I look forward to the changes coming to the app.
Heavy resistance bands are better. Much cheaper( 100 bucks) you get both positive and negative resistance and you can double or triple bands to get some serious resistance. They are more portable easier to set up and good bands will last a long time.
An extra $200 plus bucks just for the Bluetooth feature" most of their products are way overpriced and they're not even proven to be durable yet?????? and only a one year warranty seems way too risky!
Hey, man. Thank you very much for the update. I understand that the maxpro only has resistance in the concentric part of the movement. Do you feel/see that it is not as good in developing muscle size/mass when compared to traditional dumbell training? Or any other conventional training that incorporates resistance on both movements? Also on the eccentric, which is known the cause greater fiber damage, thus bigger muscle hypertrophy
Lol I need to dumb this down a bit because you're throwing around words that I had to look up. Let's say I'm doing a hammer curl. I get the resistance when I'm curling up, but like you said, I'm not getting the same level of force when I lower. I still have to control it going down though. I don't believe this can replace a gym but again you can't take the gym on the road as a truck driver.
When you use the app for exercises, you can select which equipment you have, so even if you don't have any, everything is still doable 😉👍🏼 I think the more you use it, the more you like it! 😁 Enjoy your workouts!
You will definitely see gains with this thing if it goes up to 300 pounds. The most basic understanding of muscle growth is that with a constant progression of overload and and consistency you WILL grow muscle. Free weights offer a different kind of resistance variable like stability that this doesn’t exactly offer but either way you will still benefit from using this if your training experience isn’t very advanced.
I want to know is 300lbs really like lifting 300 because I know with similar equipment like bow flex is easier than 300 free weights you know? Also is there a door mount for when I’m traveling such as a hotel room I could attach to door?
Yes the mount i use to attach it to my trailer is part of the door mount. As for the 300lbs... idk. I dont have anyway to test, but it does feel like it. When I use it, it feels just like a cable machine in the gym.
Too much chrome slows ya down haha just seen this product on fb, and I'm a otr guy myself, always looking for a nice way to fit in a workout....is there any resistance when cable goes back into the housing? Or just resistance pulling out? Thanks
@@LawfulGiraffe gotcha...not sure if that's really worth almost a grand though. Personally I'd prefer getting the maxiclimber xl only cuz I have room in or out of truck and costs way less for a complete body . Idl though but thanks bro,
Awesome product, BUT.. 9 months ago the high end connect version of Maxpro was only $549 bucks... Then months later they increased the price to $849 ?? Why a $300 increase ??? Why milk your customers dry ? When I asked I was told that was an intro price, but you mean to tell me that the product after introduction is worth $300 more ??? Think before you buy.. And why only a 1 year warranty ? If it breaks you are out $849 bucks.. No Thanks
Shit for that price, you might as well get a handy gym. It works damn well for many movements. You can work almost any muscle you can think of. Well, maybe not calves! It gives me plenty of resistance for cable flyes, and I'm a big boy that can bench three plates.
I just got mine today and it one side of my unit makes a clicking/catching sound when I run the cable diagonally across my body. The other side is smooth performing the same motion. Curious to see if you have any issues with diagonal pulls on either side? The clicking noise was supposed to be resolved with their new round vs oval cord grommet holes. I sent a message to customer service for resolution. Hoping it's an easy resolution.
does the "dial in" resistance weight exactly match the the weight of dumbells? does the resistance clutch wear out with use? does it provide the sam resistance going up and going down, the positive and the negative?
It's hard to tell what the weight resistance is in comparison to dumbells because it just has resistance levels. The clutch does seem to wear over time and on the website, you can buy replacements. The one I have does not have the same resistance going down as it does going up. It forces you to control it on the way down. I really enjoy mine, and I feel like I am using a cable machine just like the gym. What I don't like is it seems to wear down quicker than I thought.
Thanks alot for this dude I've never actually owned any equipment But it looks like this thing holds up with I need it to be, Not a trucker but a guy gonna losing his Room due to water damage for like a three months
Hell for $20 or less could have put a resistance band in the hole and did tricep biceps lat back and chest press be a lot quicker and a heck of a lot less money lol :-)
