Hi,
Just a small movie of the Maxum 1900 sc in the process of driving it to the trailer ramp, prepare for launch and having fun with others. 5 boats (maxum 190 hp, shakespeare 100 hp, rana 4 hp,lodestar 8 hp, steel cruiser), sun, a big group with a lot of kids, dog and a bbq with loads of meat. I think a formula for a good time at the water front. some footage was shot some other day but i thought it would do no harm to put it in.

The Shakespeare looked like a wild ride! I loved the Maxum, what a beautiful boat! I'm very impressed with your Forester being able to tow a boat that sized. Looked like a fun day boating and cooking outside!

Yeah what is the tow rating of that Forester. I would think the boat weight and trailer is like 4500 lbs

. both can be pretty jumpy if trimmed high up but because of the weight of the maxum it is a little more smooth when hitting a wave. our former boat was a small 4,2 mtr Placom. 4 seater with 40 hp. this boat was very light and agile. fun to use and pretty exiting because you sit very close to the water. every big wave you approach you just hope it will go over haha. the maxum is big, high and comfortable. just a total other experience. both fun though. thanks for your reaction

If I had to choose between the 2 boats I would choose the Maxum. Do you ever use the Maxum for water skiing?

Works like a charm power wise (2.5 xt, automatic, 230 hp). only need to make sure not to go over 80 km/hr. otherwise the boat with trailer (more heavy, a little over 2000 kg) will try to tell the car (1550 kg empty if I am correct) were to go. Up to 80 km/hr it is perfect. And the best part, because it is an automatic and has a torqueconverter and awd it is sooo easy to get it up the steep ramp we use often. front wheel driven cars with boats half my size or even some smaller cars with a jetski will stuggle at this ramp ( Not talking about the ramp in this video). And the very first time I tried that steep ramp with this boat and car it was raining sooo hard and while winching it on the trailer the car started to move a bit and I also pulled the trailer brakes. forgot to take them off and pulled the noat up the ramp. It was struggeling and I felt disappointed. some wheel spin now and then etc. When up my coussin told me the trailer brake was still on. We took it off, I drove back down again, went up a second time and this time It went very very easy.

hi Jesse, you cannot compare the two boats. it is just totally different in size and type. but yes we do use it for wakeboarding and kneeboarding etc. works fine and the wake is much higher than the wake of my former smaller boat. so now i am able to try to do some higher jumps then before.

hi Jesse, yes the Shakespeare is a wild ride but the maxum is too. The only difference is the weight of the two boats

Kyle Mills Why? Driving the car on the highway is much faster. And then you even take your newborn with you. This will shake a bit more and the wind in the back seat makes ik look a bit more dramatic but the water was flat and the lake very quiet. all know how to swim and the smaller ones have jackets. no worries they are as safe as can be. Sure staying at home on the couch will be more safe but a lot less fun.
