“IMPORTANT” If the commands like Maxwell don’t work then go into Settings, Game, scroll down where it says The Funny Setting, and enable it. I recommend doing this in the Menu and then going to whatever save file you are playing on. Hope this helps.

The Maxwell server is likely a reference to streamers (Namely, people like Joel) being tricked by Twitch chat into trying to "target Maxwell" to be able to find them Now... you can technically target Maxwell to find it, its just not the kitty

Something to note: For the most part, Maxwell and friends CANNOT be eaten by roaches if they are surrounded by grass. Roaches cannot spawn on grass as of d0.6, only on or in structures. This, unfortunately, does include small structures, such as bridges and large rocks (not cliff faces). So, don't worry too much! It's more than likely that your fuzzy buddies won't be eaten by roaches... that is, unless you get unlucky, or don't take proper care of them once they are in your posession!
I remember watching Joel play and he finally found Maxwell recently but the music was different, I wonder if the track used in this video is a newer one because the past one got changed due to copyright or something :O
@@karloveliki5373 this. i set it to one and have never had an issue with them, one just appears in my garage or basement occasionally (not completely tidied there yet)
My Maxwell got eaten by Ariral once. I guess it happened because I was hiding under the table at the moment and was invincible to props Ariral threw at me.
Fun Fact if you hear the flies buzzing around either cat, you can wash them in the little pool of water by your workstation and they'll be refreshed again. Effectively, you just give them a bath. Though the roach repel is a must at your desk and the fridge regardless.
Wait wait wait... THERE ARE TWO???? I got initially really lucky with it spawning very close to the river near the gate while I was speedrunong the blue and red argemia in day one and once I farmed for the roach repellent I thought that was it but looks like I need to hunt for another kitty
Btw, is my game bugged? I downloaded the 0.6.1_b version and noticed Dr kel ominously T posing but thought nothing of it since it's a demo but now I see that in yours, Dr Kel shadow actually moves and the shovel is kinda animated
I think Argemwell can move around. After spawning her I heard the music outside the main base, but after a while, as I was looking around for her, the music started growing more distant until it faded away. Later I heard it near one of the radars and same thing happened.
The only annoying thing i've found with maxwell is that he will sometimes despawn, even if you found him and brought him back to base, i had to find him twice because of this and probably will have to do it a third time sometime EDIT: after learning that roaches can eat maxwell that probably explains why that happened to me, but storing them in the fridge in my experience doesnt seem to help, i used to store alot of food in the fridge but everytime i did it ended up despawning, likely from roaches eating them as i didnt know you could turn the amount of roaches down (also the song argemwell plays is "The Penis Eek!" just wanted to point that out cos i love that goofy ahh song) EDIT 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: having them hang from the ceiling is absolutely hysterical, and the fact roaches cant reach them that way is absolutely perfect, definitely going to use this advice Last edit i swear One time i was reading out the amount of satelittes and realized there isn't one starting with Z (which would be Zulu in the nato alphabet) so i put "sv.ping zulu" in the consoleand it took me to the edge of the map somewhere (sorry that i dont remember where) I think it'd be an interesting video if you went outside the fence and see where that took you, its something im gonna try to do again once im better equipped
Interesting, and you're certain it's not the roaches? They've become quite the pest now. It was fine when they ate your daily MREs, but Maxwell isn't easily replaceable... Edit-reply: will look at Zulu
@@thevoicesnetwork Very well could've been the roaches but i never found too many roaches hanging around maxwell, nor around my fridge, i have seen one in the general area of him iirc but never multiple.
@@lolzers7986 in my recent save I have never seen any roaches granted im very neat so that could be why but yeah no roaches in sight for me (ive had maxwell out the entire time I have had him and not a single roach has appeared I have him up on the work area behind the chair)

Hypothetically, do you think it's possible to find Maxwell using the digital map? I've been scoping out the entire map with drones and surveillance cameras, hyperanalyzing every off-color pixel I see like a complete schizo. I keep mistaking random sound effects and bird calls for the Maxwell song - please help me. 😵💫

I've not had a problem with roaches consuming the cats as long as you have them on a table away from a wall, I don't think they spawn roaches then, but don't quote me on that

If Argemwell is properly put inside the microwave, its head will get caught on the door, and the door will start to shake and vibrate off of its hinges. at 12 seconds, smoke starts to appear from Argemwell. At 26 seconds, Argemwell will catch on fire. The door continues to vibrate. At about 65 seconds, Argemwell explodes into a fiery blaze, sending the microwave door flying open, and balls of soot shoot out of the microwave, lighting Dr. Kel on fire if he is hit by one. If Argemwell is improperly put inside the microwave, the above occurs, but the microwave door will start to violently shake at a high frequency, and sparks can be seen. After about 28 seconds, the microwave gains sentience for a short period, and Argemwell pilots the microwave, spinning out of control, and flying in random directions. The microwave door begins to shake even more aggressively, like a broken washing machine. At 65 seconds, the same explosion occurs and Dr. Kel is now on fire again.
what gets me is like - i think? that the cats are technically just straight up food items? the first few times i played i fell in deep and played for like 8+ hours straight, and maxwell straight up *went bad*. it reverted to normal on reload but if you play long enough in a single load they go stinky.
I have Maxwell spawn inside India. Literally I think he's in one of the concrete pillars or below the ground, the satellite ate him and I can't get him out.
hey dude i found a little thing by a youtube video if you go to cords X 35.23 Y -37.24 [it has to be accurate] and then place a remote drone in that accurate cord and enable it and then go up you will see it bump and a special "thing" will fall down
