Was… lmao if Megatron got in he will too just because he had more left doesn’t discount what he did… Megatron and Julio Jones were both considered behind him as best Wideouts… and he may have been skill for skill and pound for pound the best football player in the NFL 4x 1st Team All Pro you tell me an NFL Player that didn’t get in being a 4x 1st Team All Pro and on the 2010 All Decades Team… he may not be 1st Ballot but he’ll be in the HOF
Sure was. He was unstoppable and nice. On his way to being the next T.O or aomething but he was way to wild and the nfl was done with black crazy wild WR's after all the problems from T.O. , Ocho, etc.
@@Jeromethedpare you fucking kidding me? Calvin Johnson is so much better than Antonio Brown. Julio jones is better too. You don’t have a clue what you’re saying, and Antonio brown won’t get in.
@Jeromethedp AB is a Hall of Fame player. Top 10 all time WR imo. But I would not be surprised if he doesn't get inducted. He made way too many enemies. It's not a production issue
@@YochananGso it was because AB was black and none of it was his fault? Gotcha, I guess we'll ignore the fact that 50 other black guys on the team didn't run into this problem and AB was having these exact same battles with the Steelers for years before. Who was coaching the Steelers again? Oh yeah, Tomlin... a black guy. But hey, I guess he just didn't understand what it's like to be black too. Gtfoh
@@YochananGand "the guy" in the video is Maxx Crosby, a perennial all-pro who is very open about his struggles with addiction and talks about recovery often. He's just a very kind guy who doesn't try to say negative things about people. So this is him putting it as nice as humanly possible that AB was a complete nightmare of a teammate.
@@YochananG what are you talking about? You said AB's problems were due to white people not being able to understand black people. But AB wound up on the Raiders because the Steelers didn't want to deal with him anymore. The Steelers coach is Mike Tomlin, a black man. Tomlin repeatedly said that AB was impossible to work with. I think you need to take your own advice bro, you're refusing to acknowledge what anyone else is saying because you're being stubborn and stuck in your ways. Dozens upon dozens of people have said AB was the problem, many of them black. The guy has issues he needs to work on, you attempting to shield him from any personal accountability is how you get more Antonio Browns
@@YochananG "help! I can't form a valid or rational argument! Damn you, demon Caucasians!" Maybe it's not RU-vid's or Caucasia's fault.. maybe you're just not that smart and are pretty racist? You ever consider that one Champ?
@@walker715"we" do but well but most current and former NFL players that have concussion history don't behave this recklessly. A concussion doesn't absolve AB from the responsibility to go get treatment when he is made aware of his issues. He is rational enough to deliver apologies that come off sincere. I have a family member struggling with serious mental health issues but she is getting help with her limited resources. So AB and those defending him can't use "mental health" as an excuse. Because if AB had actually hurt somebody in your family you wouldn't be commenting about "societies lack of understanding about concussions and mental health" on a video calling him out. 🤷🏽♂️
He was already off the charts lol he was NOT gonna do anything more with the Raiders with a lesser QB. He would've been great with them but he was legendary with Pittsburgh man lol
The admission that he was playing games and then do that the next morning,he wanted cut and to be done with football, I think he's been trying to play it off that he's actually been scared to play since the big concussion hit,he played different after that, only really going for deep ball and mainly being a decoy,no more slats over the middle
Lynn Swann took harder cheap shots from the Raiders than AB did in his entire career. Mr. Swann is in his 70s and sounded better than both guys who are currently running for President while AB has carried himself like a complete jackass. I hope he can get the help he needs and turn it around.
"Kings", ironically, what AB needed more of was humility. Not "king mentality". Be humble and treat others with kindness. It'll find it's way back to you.
@@E3litecompanyyeah people heard one person say it and ran with it. He’s always been a diva and always been a little out there. Great player no doubt but blaming that hit is silly
@@NR87813 exactly and his frustrations got worse when Bryant and juju got on the team, Big Ben started to have viable options other then AB and bell so when AB would be doubled sometimes triple covered that’s when he started to lose his shit and get frustrated because Ben had no choice but to go to his other options.
@@E3litecompanyI genuinely believe that hit wasn’t the only cause - it was just the straw that broke the camels back. He was always a bit of a diva the same way most receivers are - but let’s not act like he got some new team mates and that caused him to act like this. He’s not the same person he was in 2015. Not even close. The man is struggling. I genuinely believe that he had gone through a lot back then - but due to his head trauma his brain just didn’t know how to handle it. That would explain why people say he’s great to be around. No pressure, no cameras/outside influence he’s a great guy to hang around. But once he’s in a situation that adds a little pressure - his brain just can’t process it properly. I genuinely believe that man. Something happened. He could just have mental health issues like bipolar, or something along those lines. But he wasn’t always like this, I don’t think you truly believe that.
That weak hit supposedly changed a guy's entire personality but boxers and MMA fighters remain the same match after match? I'm sure your high school tennis days qualify your argument
💯 they said in college he wasn’t like this until he started breaking records and getting real money he start doing wtf he wanted showed his true colors for sure
Social media is a small part of it - it’s clearly mental health issues if not severe brain damage due to head trauma. AB was likely going through a lot mentally, and his brain just couldn’t handle it. I don’t think social media caused this - but it definitely didn’t help.
He’s burned so many bridges and is amongst the top most disliked players in history by fans. I mean he backstabbed or turned on every single team he ever played for!
When he played there was no one better. IMO he’s a HOF WR. Dude is battling mental problems so he’s become an easy target for people. Loved watching him play and hope he can get the help he needs before something tragic happens.
for yall that don’t know ab and julio and obj was going back and forth for top wr for like 5 years man what a time to be alive prime ab was cold just had to be there and im a seahawks fan
Bucs Fan, his 1st season with us showed a ton of potential, HOF levels of potential. He got himself a SB touchdown and a SB ring. That second season meltdown was infuriating and embarrassing. AB could have been a top 3 WR in NFL history.
Numerous interactions with him - he was always nice as could be took time out with my nephew to play football I looked forward to seeing him every year remember names always wanted to lift together
@DarkAngleProduct wow your life is as empty and pathetic as your choice in sports teams. Sorry your life sucks dude, I really hope it gets better for you
@@thisthresh4248 im not trying to and i dont care to "understand" what happened to AB. Im just opining that the hit he took from Burfict was a devastating blow. One that cause permanent head trauma. What do you think cause all this since you "understand"
Nah, 2017 was a straight up bad year for us, getting rid of musgrave was a horrible decision that we shouldn’t have done, Downing was a clear step down for our entire offense, and not to mention the fact that we got rid of Murray, when he was a fine running back for us last year asides from injuries.
@@itsnuthinbutsunshineit’s a biographical movie about the neuropathologist who discovered CTE. He made the discovery while doing an autopsy on a former NFL player…
@@TheLilSiebsdoesn't mean he's right or that it's accurate ... That player could have taken way more head injuries then AB over the years... You need lots and lots test subjects with no variance and that's impossible so the best you could ever do is speculate
@@TheLilSiebs lol look at the study they used and it is all cherry picked results with players that had issues beforehand. Thats why the families donated the brains in the first place. The dude that "invented" CTE literally just took fucked up brains and said "yup this was caused from micro concussions" but never elaborated that the NFL players they chose had issues before entering the league. This is why you need to actually read and comprehend things instead of taking some ones word for it.
That CTE is real shit. I used to be a bouncer at a famouse club. Had my share of head bangers. I feel like Im unstable at times flr the same shhh. Hipe he gets better. True talent.
@@charlespearson2666how? The 2022 season was one of Davantae’s best seasons in his career. 1500 yards, 14 tds, and 100 receptions. If anyone other than mcdaniels was the coach, he’d probably have way more yards and touchdowns than that. Not to mention when Carr did leave in the 2023 season, you can see Davantae’s stats drop and his connection for the team.
He was never the same after he got paid, that hit had nothing to do with it. Look up his teammates from the STEELERS talking, they all say money changed him
@@nickwatts7640a lot of people forget that the former bucs head coach was a Steelers offensive coordinator and he said that he knew ab was a problem before that hit and TB was the only reason that they signed him

@@mikeyerian2562 Aaron Hernandez had great seasons as well; ALL while suffering from CTE. He was about to sign a $40 million dollar contract before he got busted. It is CTE. Junior Seau had " great seasons with no issues " after San Diego; you kidding ???
@@RARochester You don't know if he was suffering from CTE. In fact, there is no scientific proof that you can suffer from CTE. The diagnosis is always made after a death, simply buy looking at the brain. Maybe there is one person they think had CTE, but frankly it's all pseudoscience at this point. Not saying it doesn't exist, but it's no proven that it is a real thing.
Mental health is very real. I used to think it was a "You could stop if you wanted" situation kinda like how people say USING isn't additive it's choice. With mental health slowly destroying me, Iv become so lonely, not that I can't talk or hangout with others, my mind and body won't let me. It has its ups and downs and that's the most controlling part about mental health, it's scary. One minute it's you in ur head, the next it's another personality destroying everything around you.
AB was never the same after that hit vs the bengals i swear people gotta really go look at that he was never the same that man knocked a part of him that never came back
Dude really changed after that dirty as hit; I ain’t gonna judge just wishing better for this man. Goodness, AB is mos def one of the all time gr8est players. Killer Bees!!!
Dude was on the same team as the best QB in the NFL and bailed DURING A LIVE GAME. I do not understand why ppl were surprised. Dude was the sane at every stop. They just tolerated it in PIT for so long ppl forget he was ALWAYS a problem. He owes PIT his career.
no 😂 he really doesn’t. he easily did enough & more for the steelers. tis a simple case of CTE. read a book, look up stats or something lol. the comment isn’t overlooked, it’s being ignored for being a non-credible statement.
I hope he gets the help he needs. It’s a shame, because some people will only remember the ending. To me he’s the 2nd best WR of all time. I’m ok with everyone saying I’m wrong. That dude always got open and he always caught the ball.
It's honestly sad. Like this dude was it, he was on a whole different level. N what he could just left you in amazement. A rare player that you most wanted to see. Prob the case that what made him crazy was also what made him great.
Its wild, if you watch interviews with teamates in the early Pittsburgh years, they all talked about him seing the hardest worker on the team and a rock solid dude
People keep saying that but he was a shithead even in College. He got kicked out of one of his schools. Tomlin just did a good job of keeping his behavior under wraps.
That man literally had the talent to be GOAT and he just had the wrong people around him. Loved watching him play. Sad ending to what should’ve been a brilliant career.
True, but AB got beat into stupidity by the game. Vontez Burfict nearly took his head off in a game in Cincy, and he’s been acting VERY strange ever since! I know a guy that was on the team at Western Michigan when both he and JJ Watt were there, and he said AB was the coolest guy you’d ever want to meet, and JJ was the biggest asshole on the planet as their third string TE at the time before he transferred to Wisconsin and started playing D.
Ive never seen someone so quiet and respectful, turn into a diva, faster than antonio brown.....at the end, i wanted to root for him, but the way he was moving i just couldn't.
Lots of players, former players, and front office offered him help but he refused. You can’t help some people, especially with what we now know now about head injuries and how all those hits to the head literally changed the way his brain works. It’s a tragedy. He was a first ballot HOF.
