Whatever happens this season, we gotta patch up them holes for next season. Absolutely will need a franchise QB, more depth at OT/interior OL, and probably another CB just for depth too. Realistically that's what we needed this season but we couldn't manage that entirely.
@@SanjitT Good point about RG, I keep forgetting about that position. Parnham is not all that good, but I guess he's almost serviceable. Do you think Jordan Meredith would be better if he was swapped in this season as RG? Also more and more while I think JPJ while easily can be a all pro or pro-bowl level LG, his injuries keep getting him sidelined, every time we think we can finally field him, we get news that we can't. He constantly has to play catch up and learning the scheme and I feel like it wouldn't hurt to get another LG in the later draft rounds next year.

If we get a turnover early in the game and SCORE- That momentum will help. The Raiders as a run first team is like the showtime lakers playing like the bad boy pistons. Of course the Raiders don't have Magic but a decent point guard distributing to the weapons would help. Devante, Meyers, Tucker, Bowers, Mayer, Mattison out of the backfield...yea let's run with White. The problem with Mcdaniels offense was recievers routes were long and when the qb was ready to throw the recievers backs were to him. I saw a lot of that last week.
The o line needs to block better so that the QB has time to throw deeper passes and stretch the field. Also only 71 yards rushing last week is all because the 3 interior guys on the O line were terrible

I think we're all in agreement that nobody is worried about the defense vs the ravens offense. For the most part. But can our offense score points and keep our defense off the field

Maxx crosby is the key to winning any game of this season with our current offense.. only the raiders would have a top 5 worsr offense in the league while having davante adams, + throw in what i epexct to be 2 of the top 10 tight ends in the league. And a top 3 left tackle (offensive lineman, somebody remind me i forget if Kolt plays strictly LT or if he can play right and or interior line, thank you)
The defense has to get pressure on the QB and clog up the running lanes. They only had one sack vs the Chargers and that's not enough to win games. I'm hopeful they can get it together.
The biggest difference between these two teams is their coaching. Hopefully, our players can outplay the Ravens players because the ravens are clearly better coached. We need to win the turnover battle and play great defense to beat this team.

Got rid of our all-time leading passer. Got rid of our League leading rusher. Lost prodigy head coach to Tampa. And then lost him again. It's not a winning organization. From the ravens film i still see the same lamar he's one read and run he rarely goes through his progressions if i where calling plays for the ravens im running no less than 30 attempts they have an all star RB they're very big upfront i think they can get maxx out of the way or the other end it's what the chargers kept doing until they finally got some big runs in the ravens have a much better Oline than the lac their DTs are also very stout keeping Lamar in the pocket and maintaining tight coverage will give us a chance but I don't see a path for victory here 24-9 ravens

On the road is tough, going from West to East time zones is tough, Ravens getting beat last week makes them tough, tougher than usual. The Dolphins used a gimmicky 7 man rush to beat the Ravens last week, Raiders will absolutely need more than the pitiful 1.5 yards per running play they limped to last week if they have any prayer if being within 14 points of the Ravens..

Hey I'm at Ravens fan, And there's no way in hell that a game plan that works in the playoffs can't work in the regular season that makes no sense. NFL defensive coordinators saw the wildcat and schemed against it and now it's irrelevant! No matter how you scheme against Lamar he will always be relevant and adjust. Please remember the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks game he sat in the pocket because they wanted him to stay there and didn't rush him purposely! Is he top 10 passer? No but Tua' Jared Goff, Baker MayField, Trevor Lawrence, and Prescott were in 2023 what do you think about that? Would you take them over Lamar? A subpar passer is not going to get you 3,000 yards! However I can agree with you the playoff record does suck! As a Ravens fan I do not take you guys lately at all. In fact I would not be shocked if the upset happens but if it does I think it would be because of coaching 1st and then turnovers. Imo what we need to do is: - give some grace to the team considering there are several “new” factors to the team, particularly the offense. - need to put Peat in for Whitehair on the O-line and play JPJ. - need better playcalling. Not the predictable run run pass punt routine. - need more play action passes - minshew needs to throw sooner (not hesitate but I know he needs to get comfortable) and lead receivers. - D line and LBs need to tighten up inside run D - AP needs to cleanup the 2 errors made in the game. 1 = not challenging the spot on that one play on 3rd down 2 = not going for it on 4th and 1 late in the game.
I think nfl wanted jh to win his 1st game that 3rd down was 1st easy and didn't even show replay. And not no holding on that run before fumble. If refs and NFL still fucking the raiders then we know how seasons gonna go. But we will see

I absolutely hate that we always play conservatively on offense until we are down then we start throwing the ball down field and have success with it. Why not do that the rest of the game? I hate conservative football. How is a dink and dunk 3 and out better than a 3 and out actually trying to get some big plays downfield? Every team has a super fast receiver whose job is to run go routes and it is almost always just as a distraction.
I think your wrong on the blocking scheme!!!! Most of the lineman on the roster were in the power blocking scheme last year. The online was much better last year and now have to learn the zone scheme while trying to train new players especially interior line!!! Now there are injuries and they haven't played together!!! They should have stayed with the failure scheme.!!! Ap should have nixed Getseys plan to go zone!!! The line is obviously not familiar with scheme!!!

I believe we all thought we were definitely going to win , I certainly felt it in my gut ; the turnovers and dumb mistakes just fucked us up 🤷♂️ ; I’ll start to be a little more concerned when JPJ comes out to play and the O-line still looks like it did week 1

When the raiders played the chargers last sunday, max crosby got manhandled by a rookie offense lineman.They didn't even have to double team him.... I think max crosby is overrated.
Week 1 was garbage ! Throw it out, forget it . The team came out flat played poor football turned over the ball on downs and commuted turnovers. You can’t win like that. The interior line looks puss . Brock Bowers was a bright spot but the offensive line sucked . Andre James just makes me miss HOF Hudson . 1) Gotta give the defense a chance by not turning over the ball on downs or errors 2) Gotta get the run game going to setup the pass 3) Gotta get Bowers and Adams involved early and the Run game established 4) Tucker can influence and chunk but they gotta establish you marquee players early and the run for that to work effectively. 🏴☠️🖤🏴☠️
Yards per running play is your best measure of a team’s offense. (Stop the BS of saying “except for a few plays”……they ALL count, the 4th Qtr counts, stop the delusions about they’re good except for these plays where they were utterly embarrassed. They count, period.
