A lot of the cars are driven by younger pros. It’s how Scott Mansell made his name for example. That was many years ago, and I’d still consider him young now 😃 Furthermore, if you look at the lap times you’ll see plenty of older drivers are as fast as the younger guys, in fact often faster. Sad but true, but being a pro in motorsport is not just about talent - I know plenty of amateurs who can run rings around pros, but just didn’t have the money, luck or sponsorship to be a pro.

Those tyres they use aren't era specific. They use some kind of demo slicks that just aren't as good as the real slicks they used in these cars when they were fresh. That probably caused the lock up
@@simonjackermeier2445 so since the Halo has proved its value by saving numerous lives, how about not racing with pre Halo cars and just use them for demo purposes?
