No wonder I like 4x4 than sport cars with those tires you are beast you can run over a sports car with out the ramps nice Nissan patrol TITAN you got there
Yes, that is a valid point. But majority of the time it is the outer face that will blow the bead first, You need a pushing force for it to blow. You'd have to be in a very strange way for it to do that. While it can happen it but only very rarely
How would those do in snow you think? Better to stick to a snow rated tire? That’s prolly more of a mud tire? Dodge Ram 2500. Looking for around a 35 inch tire not 40 lol. Looks sweet thow.
Thanks bud 👍 Not sure how they'd go on snow, we don't get the chance to test it lol. Not sure about mud either, as we don't like mud (too hard to clean, damages parts etc). But I can tell you that they're excellent for rock. Best rock crawling tyre you can get and the only one on the market with "sticky" compound. They are bias ply and they also come in 35s but only in hard compound (non-sticky) bias.
I need those tires but smaller versions so I can fit in the mall parking because my antenna was about to touch the max height sign and my roof rack would boink the sign up
Do you do much road driving on these and how have they kept up if you have I’m thinking of getting a set of 35’s for my GQ but was told they will wear out pretty fast if I drive them on the road I’m thinking of getting them for a weekend tyre
Yeah @David Smith, they are sticky compound and wear out pretty fast on road, I mean unbelievably fast. I got approx 20K out of them. The hard compound ones would give you more mileage (about 30K), but with slight compromise offroad. The radial version would be the best for on road (40K and above, depending on wheel alignment, rotation, etc) but without the massive side-biters. It's hard to go anything else but stickies once you try them. I hope that helps.
nice patrol my friend now with 40 its a big monster well let him eat the rock you patrol have 8 lift i think and what about the axle stock or upgrade because I well aad 40/13.50/17 to my 1996 patrol any advice to me my patrol with 6.2l ls3
That thing is a freakin weapon! Can not wait to see what silly stuff you'll get up to in this! How much do you reckon these things bag out with 10psi? Are they quite rigid? Mind you having these monsters I'd doubt you'd even bother letting pressure down on sand. Awesome job man, congrats on the purchase. Smiling like a school boy! Ha.
such big tyres yet you still have a low mount winch and ally front bar? how much do they rub in the front? not putting you down or anything just more curious. not trolling. looks awesome tho on such big tyres!
Thanks mate 👍 No rubbing anywhere, as it's all been trimmed a bit (not in this video though). I love the look of the alloy bar, therefore the type of winch also.
Hey Shootman 👋 been a long time. Finally upgraded the bullbar to a black metal one and got this winch to try it out, something different: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RDCZROueha0.html
8" lift, bit of a trim to the front bar and the rear of the front flares and guards. At the rear, trimmed the rear bar adjacent to the wheel well and the rear quarter behind it.
The guy's so busy with customers, he answers calls while fitting tyres for others. Doesn't miss a call and doesn't let a customer down. Delivers that what promises! Great guys there are Jax.
Ha ha love the truckasaurus. Go anywhere in that beast. I'm 99% sure though that that truck is now illegal to drive on the road. Unfortunately you can't lift a 4x4 any more than 50mm higher than original. You would be getting more than that from those tyres alone. You have big kahoners.
HAHA 😂 truckasaurus. Yes, you can go 50mm higher than original in lift and another inch higher with tyre size increase as "self-certified". You can go double than that with engineer's certificate or as long as the headlights aren't taller than 4-feet to the top of the headlight reflector.
dyno tuner I doubt they will, as far as I'm aware beadlocks are illegal for on road use in Australia. They'll be going slow off road, so no need to balance.
In case I need a fully customized off-road Nissan Patrol Y61 with 40" maxxis trepador wheels, how much can it cost me? Considering you buy it and customize it and then you export it for me into Kenya?
The 37s were far from perfectly setup. Needed more offset, but that got solved with the new rims and spacers. Plus the 40s are wider by an inch, so even better.
Bro I have a Patrol too, same color but TD42, and I want to put 40" Trepadors too but I don´t know what gear ratio is needed, what gear ratio do you have on yours?? You think those tires would fit with a 4" lift?? Thanks in advance.
Great news 😎 I'm running 4.6 gears (and 85% reductions for low range) on an auto RE5R05A box. Not sure how the gears will turn out with the TD42 though. On a 4" lift, you might have a looooot of cutting involved and very very long bump stops, if not riding on them. 4" lift can work great with 37s. That's my plan in a year or two.
fk me,theres acalculator for everything on y toob, you guys dont get out much do you.35" need 4.54 gears.theres a world out there besides this ausie stuff you keep watching.PLUS,legaly 2" is it,.or do you know an engineer.!!.all these vids i watch here in aus dont tell you any detail of how they did it.as if you can,b sht.
@@phantomwalker8251 welcome keyboard warrior. Every one of your comments on the videos so far are directed as insults and how we don't know about and you know everything lol. Grow up man and have a civilised conversation. Nissan bright out a variety of engines, transmissions and gear ratios. There is no "one size fits all" bud. But hell, what would I know when you're here to teach us... cough... cough... insult us.
@@phantomwalker8251 lol 35s need 4.54 gears? On which Patrol (engine, gearbox)? Nissan has brought out a variety of engines, transmissions with a range of diff ratios to suit each configuration. You have no idea keyboard smasher. On the TB48 4.63's are a MASSIVE jump from the stock 3.55's. You should do a bit of reading and inform yourself better before flexing your muscles, but most importantly, you should look at fixing your attitude first. Kindness goes a long way you know.
nice tires, but i bet you a dollar to a donut the finders will cut into the tires, if you dont modify them,,,,,dont get me wrong, its a great look, i luv it !!!! just letting you know,,,,
