Hi, Miss Helen. The plant you showed that is all leaves is a Hosta, all of your plants, fruits and vegetables are beautiful, as you are. Please try not to worry too much about Cody. He is a strong young man, knows what he wants and is willing to work hard to provide for his family. I know you are very proud of him and will miss him very much, I remember when he lived with you. Maybe someone at the feed store you visit can help direct you on how to find new homes for some of your chickens. Good luck Cody, stay safe. God bless you all.

Cody will be OK. Look at it as an adventure for Cody. Some day he will be able to tell his children about the time he went off to Alaska to make money. He did it before and came back safe.

Ms. Helen, what a great adventure Cody will have! It's a hard job but I live in Alaska and it's the most beautiful place on earth. I think it's God's country and it's good for the soul. Bless you for being a part of his life and supporting him. You are probably the reason that he is brave enough to come all the way up here and try something new. Dear Ms. Helen, I'm sorry Cody will be so far away from you and his family. I understand your sadness, you adore Cody, and worry about him. I too have a grandson, now 24, but he lived with me from the day he was born until his mother married when he was four, I was even present at his birth. He holds a special place in my heart.
