I meant to check out this video sooner, but I got around to reading it and enjoyed what I saw. We were really happy and appreciative to be able to collaborate with you and have you on board on our channel. Your reviews was fantastic! I loved the way you put it together and what it is you had to say about the book. I read Frankenstein awhile back and I can agree that there was something extraordinary about the original book that I felt was better than the film adaptations. The films simply seemed to be constructed in order to horrify their viewers. I have come across a few instances where I felt the film worked better than the book. The Shawshank Redemption is a prime example and I view it as my favorite adaptation of a Stephen King film. The Running Man was a good book and an interesting film, but for their own individual reasons. I read Old Flames and Right to Life by Jack Ketchum and his writing is quite immoral. I know that his horror is extreme, but from what I read, there was no substance and all effect. I have yet to read My Heart is a Chainsaw, but I reckon that it would be for a more literary horror reader and not for someone that is looking to see more horror in their horror. The barks! ❤️ Happy late birthday! I Enjoyed hearing you talk about Martyr! I’d seen it everywhere but had no idea what it was about. I read My Best Friend’s Exorcism last year and really enjoyed it! Nestlings and Monstrilio sound great. Ladies Night sounds like it would make a hilarious, campy movie.

Wowow! So incredible you got to see the Eddie Redmayne casting. I recently went down the rabbit hole of Broadway show hype/critique youtube, and I've seen a bunch of him and other people talking about it. What a bummer about Chainsaw, and my goodness it seems no one has a bad word to say about Monstrillio, I might have to overcome my aversion to body horror and give it a try.

The prodigal hath returned! Edit: mark Sommers, now there's a name I haven't heard in a looong time. Brought back some memories, I knew he had a lot of stuff he went through when I was young, though I forget a lot of the details. Double dare, what a throw back! I feel so old! Thanks for that 😂

The fact that he hosted Double Dare while suffering from extreme OCD would be enough, but after a car crash he broke every bone in his face. Alex Brightman (star of the "Beetlejuice" musical) wrote the script for the show.

I really enjoy horror, but I wouldn’t say it’s my absolute favorite. I had fun focusing on horror last month as part of the Horror Mayhem reading event.
