Miss Helen those birds are called swallows. Also you started talking about flour sacks. Yes my Grandmother used flour sacks to sew clothes. The fabric was beautiful. I made my first dress from one when I was 5. With the assistance of my Grandmother. What great memories.

My grandma was half Cherokee Indian she she made fried corn meal and water and called it hoe cakes and fried flour with water and a little milk was called flitters I still make them

My family ate hoe cake with butter beans, peas any fresh vegetables. We made hoe cake out of biscuit dough. Just put it in frying pan and cook slow till done. You can flip it with a plate

Seattle is a wonderful place! I lived there years ago when we were in the Army. My nephew and family live there. You need to change your fear and go on some big trips out of beautiful Georgia! This wonderful world is something to see, when I am flying, of course I want the seat by the window ! It is so much fun to seethe Earth from up high in the airplane! Take care, it will be okey if you decide to travel! 😃😎❤️👍

Mrs. Hellen you make me worry . There is REAL Evil in the world. I’m NOT trying to scare you but I want you to understand how evil this world is. Our town had one of the best Christian ladies you have ever met. She was older blind and walked with a walker . A young man who lived down the street broke into a window beat her raped and strangled her robbed her and left . He knew she wasn’t dead so he went back in and cut her throat. I live in a small town with three traffic lights 🚦. But get your son and grandson to put up a security camera or pay for monthly service. If you are going to be on RU-vid/ public media you HAVE to have security for SAFTY !

I grew up watching my mother wring chickens necks for our dinner. We never had sugary foods or drinks. I believe that's why you are healthy and living long. I'm 79 so you and I are from the same time period and I wouldn't trade those days for another 79 years 💜💜💜

In the winter the clothes on the clothesline would freeze! You are telling a lot of my memories today! We did have a butane stove though, not the iron one. My daughter has Mothers treadle Singer that Mother sewed our clothes on. Mother also made my sister gorgeous evening gowns on that machine. We did not know we were poor! 😃😎

HELEN, PLEASE TAKE A VITAMIN B SUPPLEMENT. B1, B2, B6, B12 IN ONE TABLET PER DAY. THAT MIGHT HELP THE EXCESS WORRYING, TO GO AWAY. ❤There's no way we can eat enough to get the vitamins we need. That big appetite rarely comes. ❤ Give it some time to work.

Grandma there are some really sick people in this world and and they do do thing like that please be realy cautious even when you go to the store be on guard at all times ,and look all around you to see who around . This happen to me when my husband was in the hospital . He followed me in the store . Its not good to alone be safe and God bless😊

Helen ❤, I always have a can of jellied cranberry sauce on hand and when I run out of jelly or jam, I open a can of jellied cranberry sauce and spread it on my toast. Could also use it on waffles and pancakes. It really works💜💜💜💜💜
