The first of two epic days chasing in New Mexico...both days starting in Logan, and ending up southeast. This storm took us all the way down to past Clovis into Texas. One, slow moving, gorgeous supercell all day...that's what you live for!

I'd love to see the lapse from just this day start to finish. It would be compelling to see how it developed and then what it became

What a cool storm! Too bad it was in New Mexico and not in Arizona! We pretty much got skunked last year. Hopefully, this year will be better.

Wowzers, what an amazing monster storm... it's my dream to see something like that. Of course, we don't get anything on this magnitude & structure here in little Ol' UK. I also like that you have the turbines doing their job in shot. Great work... as always 👍

That was a lot of lightning! If you can find where the lightning struck the ground from your photo, you might have an opportunity to dig up the petrified lightning in the ground

636 kilowatts of energy in one tank of diesel, 60-70% lost as heat, month's worth of people's electrical energy consumption. With global warming, I can't stay subbed where a sub might mean you do more driving, sorry.

Nope. We have to start to realise what we are doing and what for. We are going to enter a very different time and your children will see the end of the oil based system we live in. It's running out boys, life will not be the same soon. Find an electricity bill and find your daily kwh, divide that by 636 kw and see how many days, it's around 2.5 months energy as an average where I live in Australia, if you want to support people who drive then you do you.@@michaelwillever3522

@@michaelwillever3522 No, it's not. I'm just laughing myself silly (and sad) over his wacco-ism. He also doesn't seem to understand that electricity is billed in kilowatt-hours, not kilowatts. I've heard people from metric countries speak of kilowatts of fuel, but I have no idea how that might work. He also stated his formula backwards for calculating the number of days. Besides, diesel automobiles are very uncommon here in America, were gasoline is much cheaper. No only do I support those who drive, but I drive myself! However, I'm not going to argue it any further, because you can't reason with waccos.

If only you had checked online before you replied this way. 1 kilowatt over an hour is 1 kwh, it doesn't change the amount of energy. One's a measurement of energy over time, the other is a measurement of the same energy If you use petrol which has 20% less energy, then you have to fill up more for the same distance. Supporting those who drive...hahaha, I'm talking about an amount of energy that will destroy the planet as we know it, 4.8c by 2100, oil is running out way before that but the next two decades could make you look like a piece of work for calling people names behind their backs. You do you, but maybe consider it if there are ways to travel better or consider change.@@MikeV8652
