For God So loved the world that He gave is only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Have faith on the blood of Jesus that he shed on the cross. Ephesians 1:7. That he died, was buried and rose again on the third day. 1st corthians 15:1-4. Faith alone in Jesus alone! Amen. I believe Amnon wasn't diligent in keeping with the Lord, allowing Satan an "in" to his thoughts and actions. Lesson: we must all stay close to the Lord and not give Satan an inch into our mind! Interestingly, Absololam was the one whom carried out the known punishment for the crime, while David let Amnon go free. Lesson: everyone must be under God's holy/just ruling. Even when it deals with the closest to us.
