On May 3rd, something happened to us that changed our lives forever. We are sharing our experience on this platform, not to play the victim card, seek sympathy, or attention, but to raise awareness and help others who may be going through something similar. We understand that the conflict is still ongoing and there is still no sign of peace and unity. We pray for an end to the violence and suffering, and we hope that our story can inspire others to work for peace. We will not tolerate any hate comments on this video. We are here to share our story and to learn from others. We hope that you will join us in creating a more peaceful and compassionate world. We wish all of those who are affected by the conflict peace, healing, and hope. We also wish for the leaders of the warring parties to have the wisdom and compassion to come to a peaceful resolution. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) We pray that you will put your faith in God and trust that he will take care of everything. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Meiteis in ccpur were guilty of being meitei and kukis in imphal are guilty of being kuki on that day...whoever has orchestrated this conflict hasn't lost anything...only common and poor people suffer,elite people doesn't so they won't understand what we common people are going through so i don think this will end soon even though we want this to end soon....i have been watching your videos and i always felt you are nice person,good at heart its heartbreaking that you have to go through that...i pray you heal as time pass and stay safe and healthy,i hope that one day we stay together again just like we did before....

As someone whose family went through the same, I pray that God give us the strength to come out of this stronger. My family couldn’t escape earlier since a family member is bedridden and gosh gone are those minutes & seconds spent in fear but it still haunts us to this day. I don’t know how we will ever recover from this but God will always make a way. Best wishes to you and your family.

Im so glad that you and your family is safe! I can’t even imagine what you guys went through. I hope and pray that things get better for all of us. I was also born and raised in Manipur and due to the racism eventually left for college and now even after 5 years I haven’t looked back. My family and friends are still stuck there and I still get chills when i remember the time when I was unable to get a hold of my old grandma, my family. Not blaming anyone here. No one is right or wrong. But for both the sides to burn the house of innocent is wrong. And I hope they face the consequences. If not now then maybe later. More power to you and your family! ❤

Related so much as someone who's been on the same boat. Especially the part where you said how normal life was for them while we had to flee to the airport on a bus with protection, from them. I cry so much... Especially how you left cherlie... It remind me of our Dog bulbul she's 8 years old but we had to leave her becoz of the conflict we stay together in the CRPF camp but as you said she is not allow to come with us.... There's no one at that time who could look after her becoz all our neightbour are the meitei and now we don't heard anything about her some said she may be dead or killed we lived together for 8years so everytime I see her photo I still cry😢😢😢

It's so heartbreaking to know what you all went through😢....even in news that were broadcasted by looking at the conditions of the houses,shops,killing people etc too be honest i cursed upon those people a lot. Some community's/ people need to learn about peace. If there's a conflict b/w community or any prtotest people shouldn't touch others hard earn things. Cant understand why some community/people are soo evil. More power too both of you and your's family and to all the other people's. God has a better plan for those sinner's they will pay back somedays.

There will be good people in both the communities (the meitei or the kukis) who are kind enough to help.... But the scariest uncontrollable thing is the mob! You can't resist anything from this. Its really heartbreaking to hear all the sad stories from both the communities cause its a total nightmare which will forever hunt and mark in our history and the only sad thing is the innocents are suffering. 💔 Lets all pray for peace!!!!
