Oh my free plant's my honey would go nuts if she had that option; but in Colorado your lucky to get your hands on nice cactus here they charge outrages costs for them when you can buy them in a warmer place for min funds. we love your garden and watching the fab work you and Gordon due. Enjoy
Thankyou so much for sharing your walkabout with us on such a beautiful spring day Laura Loving all your new plant babies I had such a giggle at your Obesa, poor boy it will be interesting to see the progress on that one! Bentley love you sweet boy!
Hi Laura, Happy Sunday. I just love watching you and all your work. Can you tell me what are some good succulents I can plant that can stand rain and water. PLEASE. Thanks and have a blessed rest of your day. Alma
That pachypodium crest is so cool. I think it would look great front and center along the fence. Especially near that giant bone. Like a whale diving into the sea scape
Hi Laura, Looks like you are becoming a collector now. Time to start putting some plant labels on the plants? Love the melocactus. Mine doesn’t have a cephalium yet. 😢 Love your collection 😊
I really love your succulent garden! I have a few in my collection but mostly,Jade. I have one that is 33 years old and 6 ft tall. I also have many offsprings from it scattered throughout.
love hearing Bentley slurp out of "his" fountain, lol.. he's adorable... your garden looks fantastic!! i'm still trying to find mine in the back thru the overgrowth 🤪, but the cactus garden out front is flourishing!! lots of blooms coming up so i'll try to get a good pic so you can see it that... have a great week!!! 🥰🥰🥰
You are definitely leaning into more cactus. I’m still on the succulent train and so far behind you! I’ve learned so much watching your videos. Our front yard “installation” is almost complete. I’m pleased with the majority of it. I’m just starting to embrace cactus but in my location, I think it’s the way to go. Thanks for taking us along with you and Bentley. ❤
Looks so good!! I love your walkabouts!! I went to the most amazing garden tour today it’s called Lotusland in Santa Barbara, it’s a must see if you haven’t already!
Hard to imagine it’s almost been a year in your new residence already. The garden is looking great, everything is filling out and blooming. 💚💚 the new additions! I think I heard right that you said you used worm castings to green up one of your crests - would bone meal or chelated iron have the same benefit?
Hi Laura. I’m from SD as well. Do you have any favorite potting soils you can share with me? I have problems with my soil compacting when using peat based soils. Also with perlite floating away when I water. I was thinking maybe Wonder Soil’s Succulent and Cactus Blend. Their bags are expensive, but really good quality. I’ve tried their regular soil and really like it. The gravel you use in your garden and potted plants, is that pea gravel? Top dressed? Where can I find good quality pea gravel? I look at Home Depot for pea gravel but their current inventory in my area isn’t very good quality. Thanks!!!
Of course you will get the new jobs,if they see your work how could they say no? If you came to Florida I would take out a loan and hire you! HaHa ! Enjoyed todays video.🏝
