Girl the Chanel double flap bag you’re desiring is $11,700 pre tax. Just peeped it for Mother’s Day. Looked at it on pre-loved sites and anything in decent condition is $9k. Hard to spend so much on used from the 2014 era and hard to spend that much on new- it’s a down payment on a car. It’s a conundrum but truth is I’m a LV girl for over 30 years, so don’t really want to spend so much on what would be my first Chanel bc my heat is with LV. Maybe next year!

I commented on one of your LV Speedy videos that my next purchase was going to be the Speedy 30B in damier azur, which had been on my wishlist for awhile. Well, then I watched your LV Keepall video, and mind you the keepall was not even on my radar, but you were talking it up...and now I have an LV Keepall 50 😂 I did take your advice, and found one on the pre-loved market, in excellent condition, and saved $1700 off retail. I have 2 suggestions for the Chanels on your wish list. And don't judge me 😄😄😄 For the classic flap and the 19, get a clone/dupe/Super Fake. Take it for a test drive and see if it actually works for you and if you like it. Then you're not out a lot of money if it doesn't live up to the dream. Also, may I suggest the Coach Tabby. It's like a 19 for less but very nice quality. Test drive it. If you love then pop for the Real Deal. ❤❤❤

I have a few classic flaps from Chanel and honestly ehhh. I’m not sure if I recommend them much anymore. I didn’t buy them for their current price at all. I think you can definitely find one at $6-7K pre loved!!! But if you really want brand new, I would def look more at Celine if you’re open to that. Still expensive but at MUCH better price points. I LOVVEEE my maxi Chanel 19 though like LOVE AND ADORE IT. It is amazing. If I could recommend any Chanel bag it would be the 19. My mom likes her multi pochette but she never uses it together😂 always separate!! In terms of that side trunk ughh it’s such a dream. I want one 😍. Badly!!!

@@RakeedahsCloset the reason I wouldn’t suggest the flaps is because of the quality. If it isn’t vintage with 24K gold plated hardware, it will tarnish and honestly kinda quickly, it doesn’t hold much whatsoever and quality of leather is not outstanding. In the price range they’re in now, I would suggest go for Hermes. Even pre loved, their hardware is still real gold and their leather is literally AMAZING. Also, I don’t wear them as much as I thought, besides my vintage one!! I’m a girly girl and I reach for my Dior bags MUCH more than my Chanel bags with the exception of my non classic Chanel bags!! I think you will love the 19 though. Fits SOOO much more than the classic flaps
Capucines is very well made but a heavy bag! Lovely, heavy and expensive. Bought one but felt like I was carrying a basket and didn’t like the way it closed with the flag on the inside. Had to give up and return it.
I want to try it on first. I am going out of town in June. Hopefully, during this trip I will have an opportunity to stop at a boutique and try it on, but LORDT that price 😫😫😫🤣❤️❤️
