Tom Gilbert is a compost farmer in Stannard, Vermont, a rural town outside Hardwick, Vermont where much of this film takes place. Though his farming philosophy is profound in its own right, his philosophy on the human bonds we need to get through climate change is even more important right now. This interview with him explains how there is no way to avoid it, we are all connected, and suggests what we should do about it.
