the thing she says at the end, "a bunch of crazy lunatics coming together in a room and going 'lets make something,' that's the feeling that keeps me alive," I have to say that I love that so much because I relate to that feeling. I'm an aspiring screenplay writer and filmmaker and I have those same feelings maya is talking about, the feeling of being alive when you're creating art for the world to see, or even just for yourself. It's exhilarating. She said "it's what makes my heart pound" and I couldn't agree more.

This one of the best interviews. I wasn't familiar with Maya. I know who her parents are. Maya is a very intelligent woman. I am very impressed by her. She's a total artist. Great, great interview. Great interview. I caught part of it in the car and had to come back to listen to it all. I didn't know Maya and I only vaguely know who her parents are (I am an out of touch boomer). It is a joy listening to two intelligent, articulate but down to earth people having a thoughtful conversation.

This was not a good interview on your part man, I was left disappointed by the conversation points you had, it can be better. Maya Hawke is so genuine and artistic, you could’ve gone on a deeper dive on her music and her inspirations.
