Maya Hawke Says Nancy Should LEAVE The Stranger Things LOVE Triangle..
Welcome back to Showified. Maya Hawke, who portrays Robin in Stranger Things, has suggested that the best choice for Nancy in season 5 is to get her out of the love triangle storyline. Nancy's most enduring secondary storyline throughout Stranger Things has been the love triangle between Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan. While Stranger Things season 4 teased a possible rekindling of Nancy and Steve's relationship, despite Jonathan still being her current partner, the future of the character might be better going in a completely new direction.
While viewers wait for Stranger Things season 5, a fan-made comic imagines Joyce and Hopper's long-delayed first date. The Duffer brothers' nostalgic 1980s horror series first debuted on Netflix in 2016 and quickly became a global pop culture hit. I thought I was the only one who thought of this. From like season 2? I realized how Nancy's character arc is always about love and who she would be with when her arc can be something different, like overcoming her trauma for losing her friend, not by love, but by having her own time to herself. I believe Duffer Brothers do know this, and you can kinda see that's why Nancy always end up falling for different people or being kinda indecisive (Steve or Jonathan) BECAUSE she has attachment issue and also partially because of her parents. (as well as Mike having hard time saying 'I love you') And it's just so weird how no one talks about this. I want to hope and believe that at the end Nancy do end up being solo.
