what if there are floating skin clusters inside the mesh and you don't want to separate the mesh?

@@kunal_aher I’m kicking myself so hard rn, because yes I figured it out, but it was 3 years ago. It was something super obscure and I stumbled on it accidentally. So sorry. Might want to try combining the floating geometry with just 1 poly, transfer the vertex order and later deleting it.
