Good luck to her -- I generally found her well-articulated commentary on MSNBC to be clear-headed and insightful. My intuition is that she would be a superb NYC mayor.

Maya is impressively articulate, devoted to the rule of law, and fully in touch with the issues most important to city residents. Her stated policy positions are spot on, IMHO. Wishing her success!

Yes, he is far from the status quo candidate she is claiming to be running against. She might be great, but I'd rather have him. But I'm sure either one of them would be an improvement, just wish she didn't lean so heavily into the identity politics. Yang runs mainly on ideas. But I liked what she had to say about reining in police violence and fixing funding priorities.

Someone who cares about vulnerable people,who will cultivate community, and honest communication .Maya Wiley would be a great and righteous mayor for New York. Cuomo needs to leave , when the investigation is done,just to keep the integrity of the office and not to disgrace it further!

Aside from going straight to identity politics as a woman out the gate, everything she said is spot on. If she's true to everything she said, she will make an awesome Mayor. Yang is 100% correct on identity politics. Your identity seldom qualifies you for anything. Although, it does give you a unique perspective.

I like Maya Wiley! She's smart. She's articulate. And her heart is in the right place. All things I believe could work against her in this race. Americans have traditionally been suspicious of intelligence. So, an eloquent, obviously intelligent, black woman running for office faces a higher hill to climb than most.

Maya is incredible: a great camera presence, speaks clearly, has an answer for every issue. I was pretty disappointed in Mehdi's rushing her thru her responses not seeming to listen welll of be engaged.. I usually admire his interaction w/the guests, but he let me down here...
