Mayan Dance in XCaret, Cancun 

Been there. It's one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The dances and entertainment will put chills down your spine. You FEEL the music. Awesome!

I bear none of them ill will , because what is past is past and it is difficult to judge them by what we know today. I do enjoy the dances and I have been to Cherokee & Choctaw gatherings with some of my relatives who still participate. Always be proud of what and who you are.

Many of my ancestors were once enemies in wars and invasions of centuries long past, members of great kingdoms, and armies long since turned to dust.

This is our war dance i believe, many say it's not a real traditional dance however when your old culture is erased then rebuild it and create new dances and mix it with ancient ones

well mexicans have both european blood and native blood so yea they have two diffrent cultures mostly spanish and native

How off can you be? Mayans where mexicans they lived in southern mexico like the states of Yucatán, Chiapas,Quintana Roo, Campeche, Villahermosa, and parts of Oaxaca and Veracruz their are countless tribes over mexico you obviously aren't educated so maybe next time get your facts straight before saying anything :)

Mayans were not mexican, they were guatemalan, people often confuse the tribes..aztecs were the mexican ones
