One of the most well written parts of the show. Steve got what he wanted but it was too late. He realized he didn't want it just at the worst time possible
yeah best episode of the series so far. this party scene and Miguel's bathroom scene with his wife blew me away. Mayans definitely took it to a new level

They kind of already did that though with characters like Ratboy and EZ who get more brutal and cold blooded, I think it's more interesting to see another perspective in this case what it's like to be trapped in that world or seeing someone getting their patches and realising they've made a massive mistake.

He’s looking at it like this is all he wanted now that it’s here it’s not what he thought it would be he’s still hurting and this made him feel worse that he’s rewarded for what he did that is hurting him
To me he’s looking at it like “with this now I have to kill more people but i don’t know if i can do that again”. He is hurting. No one noticed. EZ was dealing with his shit but im still surprised he didn’t even acknowledge Steves down in the dumps mood over everyone’s happy giddy rainbow party
Poor innocent Steve, they patched him in way too soon. As Ez has said: "Being a prospect is about destroying the ego" If Steve was given a full year as a prospect, his character would have developed well.

Steve was too overwhelmed by killing that Mayan, he did everything a prospect was asked of him but the charter made the mistake of patching him in too early they didn’t pay attention to him, it’s a shame he went out like that but that was too much for him carry.

I think if he had more time as a prospect to process what happened and come to terms with it he very well might have made with peace with it, being patched in meant all the stuff he was struggling with was about to get a 1000 times worse.
I bet after that they’re going to keep it a full year for a prospect to be eligible for a vote and probably mentally test if the prospects are cut out for the life
Ironically I’m an outpatient therapist but I’m not saying diagnose members and do psych evaluations with treatment plans. I’m saying I could see them having them shoot someone or something that would put them at ease that a prospect won’t commit suicide

It's so sad to see Hank, almost innocent man become an actual biker drug selling trash. Even sadder knowing he offs himself. Even sadder than that is knowing that these situations happen in real life everyday. People trying to fit in, but are innocent inside.
They live like animals with no real loved ones. Their own family has little or nothing to do with them because they. Annoy trust them to do the right things for the right reasons.
I mean they voted on it at temple that’s all that really matters. And considering he was able to do every single thing they put him through and all the ways he was actually able to help them pull off a few of their stunts plus the fact he killed someone in defense of himself in their fight obviously meant a ton to the club especially when a full patched member like Coco was off slamming his needles.
This just goes too show the difference between the mayans and the sons if steve tryed patching into the sons they would never allow a guy like him into the fold simply because he dosent belong in that line of work the mayans on the other hand are just looking for more soldiers for their ranks
He was just wayyyyyy too soft for that life....boy should've been in therapy not prospecting an outlaw mc... I highly doubt he'd even be a hang-around let alone a prospect.
