He didn't threaten him. He gave him great advice. Angel would be an absolute fool if he didn't walk away. He's the last person who should be fighting in a war with a baby sitting at home.

Throughout the series Ez shown restraint especially with Angel. Angel’s badmouth and talk down about Ez to his pops, the club, women he was with, even threw hands and hit him a few times. Not once has Ez ever hurt Angel intentionally. Restraint time is over. He doing what he has to do. Meanwhile he’s not enjoying this. His father was a killer and enjoyed it. Ez kills because it’s strategy.
I’m on the side with Angel because this is not the life he wanted for his brother no sibling would ever want a life like this for their siblings he can’t believe how far his brother has descended and he can’t cope with the fact that this life will get his brother killed or this life will lead him down the same path that it led Jax Teller
It was literally when EZ has his Michael Corleone moment that I realized that Mayans is a retelling of The Godfather the same way, or maybe is a lesser way, as Sons of Anarchy is a retelling of Hamlet. That does prophecize that Miguel and Angel will die, with EZ killing one of them, most likely Angel since he’s definitely meant to be the Fredo of the three. Which makes Miguel Sonny so he probably dies anyway. If this holds then EZ survives, but loses all his power at the end and ends up alone.
Angel brought EZ in the club , but with that it awakened his inner demon inside him , now it’s all EZ’s got so he’s protecting it like a savage , this is off topic but it reminds me of BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT’s Miklo , the club / gang is all they had left to believe in and because of that it’s kill or be killed to them…
EZ forgot about what family means, feels like he wants to be the man no matter what and to protect the mayans he's threatening his own brother. Like they say, be careful who you walk over on the ladder of success, you'll see those same people coming down.
I believe it's not so much a threat but a future outcome. EZ is basically saying either with me on this all the way no questions asked or you need to walk away from this club completely. Otherwise he won't stop no matter what and that includes brotherly ties.
EZ is nothing like Jax,moreso like Clay after his health complications. Becoming more power hungry and brutal before the end and Angel may have to put him down.

I don’t think u guys have been watching the same show I am because that’s what has been teased from the beginning santo padre was made to be the pipeline to the cartels that was it’s whole purpose EZ the only one who sees the bigger picture not once has it been brought up that Mayans are trying to go ligit like how the sons are so I don’t understand why people hate on ez or even compare him to Jax they are not the same at all
honestly at this point the only ending i see is an “of mice & men like one, angel (george) putting ez (lennie) down because its more merciful to angel realizing his brother is destroying everything he sees/touches and becoming something far worse then what jax & clay were in the soa timeline.
I love this version of Ez, he finally stop being a scared lil boy. I think people are overacting Ez hasn’t lost his way at all. He is doing what a true leader is supposed to do. Last time I checked Ez has always looked out for everyone.

Between (1) the hospital shoot out that was caught on multiple camera(s) at the hospital to (2) blowing the brains out the woman that literally saved his life last season when he was ambushed as he almost bleed out and (3) to killing that the only guy who gave him a lifeline and vouched for him when he was in prison, Karma dictates that EZ will die near or by the Mayans Inc. series finale. Ohh, I forgot. He pretty threatened to take out his own brother. EZ is definitely making former SOA President Clay Morrow look like a saint.
well hes definitely on a Jax arc right now since both were presidents by the end of season 4 i wouldn't say so much that ez threatened angel I can see how it can be taken that way but ez could of just been telling him if your not with me 100% then your gonna get left behind just food for thought
Ppl hating Ez for the way he turned out but don't understand he was alr headed there due to the fact he was giving a deal super early In the series (For those who actually paid attention no pun intended) which basically had alr led to him become whats in his nature. Finding the truth about his family was what lead him to breaking. Ppl forgot Ez Was a prospect Legit the start of the show so ppl gotta remember dude was always about family & being a warrior. But by the end of szn 4 you see all the pain & blood he sacrificed to get where he's at now & Angel always doubted him or envied lil bro Sumtimes & it was shown thru out the series. I understand the brother aspect but it was Angel who led Ez into that path, Ez himself was destain for it Jus like Jax was. This scene was very powerful & it wasn't a threat, it was more of a way of telling him if ain't riding w me you'll b left behind jus food for thought. Angel always felt inferior to Ez since the start of the series Bc not only was he the big bro but was alr patched in the MC so he was good unlike Ez who was the lil bro & hadda earn his ranks & towards the end of the show Angel decided to destroy that bridge. Like I said ppl forgot Ez was always about family til he hadda go thru pain & blood. & They mad Ez tht one gurl but fail to realize that she was a liability the moment the hospital scene happened. She was going to rat him out so He thought best. Ppl alos fail to realize Ez was always brain before bullets Jus like Jax before going thru similar stuff he did. In the End I feel like Ez will pull a Jax but all in all I'm really glad this show caught a lot of attention. I was hoping for more szns but IG not. @@anthonycampos8057 true but the other charters still have suspicions and once Alvarez gets in contact with either Diaz and/or Otero or whoever the next Stockton prez will be it'll cause major issues for Santo Padre. Whether Alvarez is out or not he still has respect from the other Mayan charters.

I don't think EZ has it in him to kill Angel, he just said that to scare him into getting his mind in the club but if he actually did kill him then he would fall apart right after that, I don't think EZ would be forgive himself

Ez got a lil ahead of himself big headed seen it happen to many new members of the gang I was in for 20 years they get the stripes in under a year and act like they been doing it for years
He never threatened him, all he did was warn him of what’s coming soon, idk if EZ knows about Christopher (Nails’ son) or Maverick (Adelita’s son) but he knows Angel has a family and having a family in this type of life is not something that can eventually get you killed if you’re not in 100%
I don’t like the direction of this. I mean, EZ had some character development throughout the seasons it is obvious that he will be the Preis sooner or later but his bloodlust and anger came from nowhere.. maybe he now accepts that he is a monster without morals after killing Gaby.. but damn.. it came so forced. Let’s see how season 5 will turn out

I think like how EZ killed the prison dude (i forget his name atm) for threatening him, angel in the end will kill EZ for threatening AND lying to him and the club.
