I’m glad that Kurt Sutter’s going about this sequel series the same way Vince Gilligan is doing with Better Call Saul and avoiding gratuitous cameos and instead bringing in characters that make sense for the narrative. Particularly with Alvarez and Potter.
@@gdsrecaps Indeed. That’s why I usually gravitate to shows like Peaky Blinders, which has just as engrossing narrative but in a smaller package so it’s not as much of a slow burn compared to Mayans or Better Call Saul.
Disney got involved, Sutter was fired and now we get cheesy cameos every other episode 😂 Did get Tog back for a guest appearance though so not all bad I guess.
Probably wrapped up in streaming contracts or something, will all come out at once as a box set after season 5 maybe? Didn’t Disney take over season 3 onwards? Let’s face it, it’s probably contracts and money…
If Happy comes to me (his contact) to discuss a past hit he was given, I’m going to think something’s up. I’m turning and walking away. No way am I ever talking to him about anything he was assigned/paid to do. Unless I’m the Feds, Mex or US. Which of course would open up a whole can of worms of why he patched with SOA. Just makes you wonder about the guy now. PS; haven’t watched the show, unless someone can tell where it’s free. 😊
