Im moroccan and i would’ve totally thought you were moroccan if i saw u outside haha, I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay in Essaouira, it’s definitely one of the underrated touristic gems we got in our country 🤍
@@CamDoesIt im from agadir and its so beautiful, very touristic. rabat on the other hand is a bit calmer, like not a bunch of things to do but still definitely a nice city to visit
I was so shocked when I entered the video and learned that you're not actually Moroccan, you look more Moroccan than me and my whole family, you look gorgeous Mashaallah.
Cam, I am a Palestinian-American woman born in the US and have lived here most of my life. I have had the travel bug for so long. I was blessed enough to finally spend a month in Guatemala and Mexico earlier this year. travelling the middle east always felt impossible because I am restricted when I visit Palestine. I have been dreaming of spending months somewhere in the Mediterranean someday. Now, I know for a fact that I want to solo travel through North Africa and spend a good chunk of time there. I can only begin to imagine how healing it will be inshallah. Thank you so much for sharing your pleasant experience as it is encouraging us to do so as well!!!
@@nula.thedoula So sorry I missed this beautiful comment. The travel bug is reallll, especially the deep innate travel bug which is really just a longing for your land and your home. A solo trip through North Africa and/or the Mediterranean would be so healing for you. Morocco had such a warm feeling and I know I’ll be back! Sending you love and I hope this dream comes true for you one day soon ❤️
My soul was craving a vlog like this. Depth. The sunsets, the buildings were rare visions I would see only in my dreams. And the music you chose was chefs kiss. This was life changing, honestly. I want to visit here now. I wonder what inspired you to visit such a place...
as a Moroccan myself i've visited many cities in Morocco but Essaouira gave me the same feeling, and i really didn't expect it. really encourage you to visit this underrated beautiful city!
I'm going to Essaouira in few days, and your Vlog is soo helpful. As an introvert myself, I choose this lovely city because my friends who been there told me its totally my style, people are nice; and its soo cozy and healing. Thank you!!
Cam, you're a true inspiration, you make me want to create videos, i just became a full time youtuber, even though i just have 400 subscribers, but not only that your videos make me feel light and wonderful and makes me see the silver lining, fixes my grumpy mood, i just want to thank you, wholeheartedly ❤❤
omg i loved the vlog!!! Morocco is such YOUR vibe. The bags were literally made for you ahahahh Do you have a hair routine to share ? because your hair look EVERYTIME gorgeous 🌞🌞🌞
Still looking at that handbag like it's my first born child. For my hair I use the As I am co-wash every couple of days and shampoo (whatever I have on hand honestly) every 2 weeks rougly. Each day I use the purple aunt jackies curl cream and scrunchhh always and twist for the fringe. Hope that makes sense...will cover in a future video.
I thought you were Morrocan and then gasped when you started talking. I would totally think that you are a native if i saw you around. Also GORGEOUS BAG.
Such a peaceful place, rich in culture. Thanks for sharing such inspiring content. I am new to your channel and I loving it. I have been binge watching your videos all day!
Going to meknes and ifrane solo this coming saturday for a week, hoping to get the same vibes there! Food, culture, craft, people and i am loving your bag too. ❤ Txs for the sharing from Malaysia
never been to ifrane but meknes is beautiful. One of the royal historical moroccan cities. But you should definitely be careful as its quite a big city. May allah grant you a safe trip.
Love your solo travel videos, very honored to see you visit Essaouira it resides as a special place in my heart. Ps: we speak darija in Morocco French is only spoken with tourists as the majority of them are French.
Essaouira is my favorite little town in Morocco! It’s so beautiful and has the best vibes. And it seems to suit you. Your video makes me want to return again! And that bag is amazing!
Morocco is such a magical place! if you have the chance expend a night in the dessert. It's incredible the peace there and watching the sunset. Wonderful video btw
NO BUT A MOMENT FOR THE LEATHER BAGS !!!! the backpack is gorgeous. the handbag is full of character. I also sit and admire my new purchases in their essence for daysssss after. beautiful video as always cam 🫶🏽
wow beautiful !!! this is one of my favorite vlogs of yours yet- so full of nice sensory experiences i can only imagine what it was like in person. wishing you safe travels
buying that same backpack on my first day in Essaouira thinking I should wait a bit is something I did and I still love mine 😊 new sub here you have a beautiful vlog style❤
this is the most gorgeous vlog i've ever watched, thank you so much for sharing your trip with us, everything was absolutely breathtaking. next trip will for sure be there !!
Very nice presentation. You are lovely. This February, my overnight trip from Marrakech is to Essaouira. I’ve picked a “Dar” right on the ramparts, overlooking the ocean. After seeing your post, I just can’t wait. ❤
To be honest you look at lot like people from the south east of Morocco, you should visit Agdaz, Rissafi Erfoud , Goulmim and Boulman those are the gems in Morocco. Of courses big cities are cool too. But yeah you look more Moroccan than me XD. I am glad you are enjoying Essaouira, the city have a rich history with Rock bands from the 60 and the 70, matter of fact, Hendrix , the pink floyd and led zeppelin used to stay in Essaouira a lot!! The Diabates beach was so popular among hippies in the 70 XD. Have a safe and wonderful trip!!
I'm moroccan myself, and essaouira is like 100 kms away, but I always fall in love with the little city each time I visit. I'm glad you enjoyed it, it's definitely a good place to find oneself and spend time alone.
Gurl I'm loving your vids ☀You look like a fellow Moroccan sis, sis! Essaouira is a city I love, and your entire channel has a slow living / mindful feel I'm into, so you have a new subscriber for sure 🤗 Keep it up!
I call it "The land of love" for a reason, there's a specific vibe you can only feel once you get there that is hard to explain to other people if they haven't really been there before Also : Your dark skin makes you look 100% local, you'd most definitely blend in easily, I'm Moroccan, i get mistaken all day for a Tourist when i'm there lol
I believe in Morocco that they actually speak Darija. Darija is predominantly Arabic based with some French words that have been “moroccanised”. My partner is from Morocco 🇲🇦 😊
Wrong, Darija is a mixture of four languages (Amazigh, Arabic, French and Spanish) and each region has a language that dominates the others, for example in the north you will find many Spanish words.
yes sure! some moroccan give the wrong impression to foreigners! by using basic french! and still they dont know how to speak french! we use in our daily life arab darija
