I thought about buying this as well but I think my favourite in this category is still the sr1 lite because it even has a thicker blade stock and is slightly longer.
SR1's blade is so thick that it's not a good slicing tool. It's a sharpened pry bar, and a good beater, but it doesn't have good blade geometry. If you reprofile the grind and take a lot of meat off from behind the edge it works better. The AD10, 4Max, and Recon 1 are much better options.
