Maybe You Will Remember - Scary Stories Recreated in Animal Crossing 

Here's an ending I came up with: Three days later, Rosemary sat in her room, wondering what was going on. Suddenly, a man she had never seen before stepped in. He had fair skin and black hair. With him was a blonde, blue-eyed girl about Rosemary's age. Before she could say anything, the man said "Don't be frightened, Rosemary. I mean you no harm." Rosemary was confused. "How do you know my name?" she asked. "My name is Herman," said the man. "Your mother was my sister. And this is my daughter, Sylvia." "So to him, he's your Uncle Herman," said Sylvia. "Then...you know where my mother is?" asked Rosemary. "We can take you to her," said Sylvia. "But it's not a pretty picture." Rosemary followed Uncle Herman and Sylvia to a bright blue car and got in. It took about twenty minutes, but they got to some kind of morgue. "Why are we here?" asked Rosemary. "You will see," said Uncle Herman. Once they got to the front desk, the coroner agreed to show them to Mrs. Gibbs. The minute they got there, he pulled out a drawer, and there she was. Rosemary, seeing her mother, went to her. "Mother?" she said uneasily, fearing the worst. "Mother, come on. You gotta get up. Mother? We gotta go home." Rosemary poked and prodded her mother's body, but it was no use. Mrs. Gibbs did not answer, or even move. "She's gone, Rosemary," said Sylvia. "She's dead." "No!" cried Rosemary. "She can't be gone." "I'm afraid she is," said the coroner. "She died of the plague three days ago in the hotel. The hotel staff kept it secret so to avoid an epidemic and citywide panic." Rosemary could not believe what she was hearing. Now she knew the truth. She fell to her knees and cried hysterically. "What will I do?!" she wailed. "I'm too young to be without a mother!" "I can care for you," said Uncle Herman. "I'll never be able to replace your mother, but I'll do my best." With that, Rosemary hugged her uncle, and from then on, lived with him and Sylvia.
