I live about 45 minutes from Mt Airy. My granddaugthers and I like to go often to downtown and shop. I have never taken the tour. Thanks for taking us along. Learned many interesting things.

I love listening to Carroll talk about the quarry and the area. This is my kind of video, I enjoy history so much! This is so informative and interesting about the cast of The Andy Griffith Show. I would definitely do that tour! Looks like a fun place to visit! ❤

We were there not too long ago and did the sqad car tour. We loved it, we even went to snappy lunch and had the famous Andy porkchop sandwich. It was really good, you must try it. We love Mt. Airy

What fun! We absolutely love the Andy Griffith Show and I could just leave our TV on a loop of their shows all day, every day! My own childhood, growing up in a small town in the 60’s was a lot like Mayberry. Brought back alot of memories. I stayed at Mayberry Motel every 2 weeks for 6 years. I sold and delivered drill bits and steel to NC Granite Quarry for drilling the granite blocks . Loved Mt Airy , thanks for the memories ......

We almost drove there 20 yrs ago , after watching an episode. I had no idea it was such a cool town..We live in Tulsa Oklahoma, so would had been a long drive.. Lol
