So true. I homeschool my daughter and we just finished school yesterday, but my two boys are in public school and I feel like I've been traveling to all these different schools for concerts that my 12 year old is playing the clarinet in. Then I finally get some rest because last night was his final concert for the year, but now have to go to my other son's school for a pancake dinner where he is presenting the maple syrup he made in class... it never ends

Teacher appreciation week. Thursday night. 7:30 pm. !!!!! Crap! 8 Starbucks gift cards later the day was saved. Monday night. 7 pm. Oldest kid’s end of year school award ceremony. Half way though the program. Said kid gets award. Younger brother leans over to me. Whisper yells- Can we leave now. I can’t stand the boredom any more, mom. 😒 Yep! It’s Maycember! Y’all nailed it!!

I'm noticing that you have a lot of your electronics actually plugged in. My May reality is nothing is charged, shoes are broken, homework folders are covered in various sauces and somehow this single mama of 3 is suppose to pull of 2 birthday parties. It's the most wonderful time of the year 🤣

Just want to say the major project thing is so true. This week I have a 100 point project due in math, ELA and social studies, a quiz in Spanish, and a semi major project in science. (Done with the social studies!)

It's true though. Lol My oldest son's last day is this Friday. His Pre-K graduation party is today (Wednesday), tomorrow I have two IEPs for my two oldest, and then he has water day on Friday. I'm picking up all his things Friday as well and then we have more doctors appts next month. Plus, I need to plan a family vacation. My kids are 5, 3, and almost 11 months and they are very energetic! I may just have to hide in the closet with chocolate and cry most of the summer because I may not survive.

Mid-May recital? That sounds like the play I was in this morning and have been the rest of the week!! It’s Lion King. Usually, I’m Nala’s mom, but today I had to fill in for Timon. I memorized the lines last night and learned the choreography/blocking today!
