Jamming to mayday parade in 2019 is so nostalgic, hearing this song just remind me of those high school days when I’d battle through many tough times and all I had was my headsets and jamming to mayday parade for hours album after album 😢...but look at me now manage to get through those tough times and now I’m smiling with appreciation at this band who helped me through it! Can you guys relate?

This is the type of song I would listen to cry myself to sleep.

To me, it's their best album and this is one of the top 5 songs they have ever produced in good long 12 years. Great lyrics, full of emotions, nostalgic guiter chords, melodious and overall a simple but outstanding composition.

I used to listen to a few songs of Mayday Parade. They never changed (compliment btw lol) They still out here with amazing music! I came here out of curiosity to see what new stuff they were doing and I must say that I love this song so much! Mayday Parade, your music will always be a blessing to me.

This album will always be special to me; the build up to it got me through my exams, and I celebrated the end of school to this album. (It was released on the same day). Each album MDP has released is special to me, and has helped me through some rough times. The band is amazing. Derek Waved to me at my first concert (it meant a lot to a 16 year old), gave me motivation to become vegetarian, helped me stop self harming, without doing anything, Brooks’ smile never fails to make me feel warm inside, Jake is Amazingly funny (Cray-on) [not to mention he’s liked a post of mine], Alex is adorable, and (along with brooks) inspired me to learn guitar. Cabby has played some of the music that has hit me the hardest in the feels. (Love it). The tour vlogs, the banta, the interviews, the stories & pictures on social media, and finally the music and lyrics that have saved my life. Just. I remember back years ago when my old girlfriend and friends all talked about our favorite bands and I remember having that feeling of embarrassment of NOT telling them its mayday and saying some other w/e band...anyways years gone by, girl/friends gone.....I think to myself why did i hide this side of me...mayday is life they are real and if a girl/friend cant understand that then they're not worth my time.

Personally not huge into this band's vibe, but there is a Mayday Parade themed pizza at two Tallahassee businesses (Midtown Pies and Gaines Street Pies) called Derek Sanders is a Vegetarian. May be worth a try for fans of this band who are in that area!
