Mayer & Cie. customers manufacture reinforcements for various types of hoses on our braiding machines. Made of steel wire, they are mainly used in high-pressure hydraulic hoses as used in industrial production, on construction sites or in agriculture.
Braiding is based on the maypole principle, using different wire types and yarns. The rotors reach speeds of up to 225 rpm leading to top performance braiding. Mayer & Cie. braiding machines are powered by modern servo motors that enable infinitely variable speed control. The decks can be controlled individually, the pull-off caterpillar is synchronised, and to ensure that everything runs smoothly, Mayer & Cie. braiders come with an integrated lubricating system that makes them low-maintenance.
