Mayhem Brawler is a beat 'em up from Hero Concept, originally released in 2021. Since then, it's had some major updates. The latest one, and perhaps the last, includes the new playable character Alley Witch. This is a full Arcade mode playthrough with her.
I played this game when it first came out and I wasn't a big fan of it. The combat was very simple, and very tedious - especially on the higher difficulties. Since then, they revamped it with the "air supremacy" update that added air combos (among other things). This made the game a lot more fun to play! I still think the enemies are too damage spongey, and your special meter regenerates too slowly, but the game is definitely much better nowadays. I've always liked the branching path design, and the graphics and animation are very well done, so overall I think it's become a solid beat 'em up. For $20, it's not a bad pick up for fans of the genre.
