I wouldn’t say they slapped them but they were the better band that night. They had a more mature sound, meaning cleaner , fuller and more balanced. What hurt NOASB was their overall execution, technique and endurance as the night went on. Like someone else said in another comment, they sacrificed technique for power. You can have a powerful sound and maintain technique. Just my unbiased opinion as a musician and former FHorn/Mellophone section leader from back in the day.
@@torreywilliams6154 Yea, lol, I was thinking and wrote something about that. to make a long story short. It seems like these 2. NOASB and GAMB.. seem to do better against each other away from home. Not sure if they get too comfortable at home, That's a theory, but they always lose to each other at home for some reason. lol
