This was a big band variety show, so backing band is not Maynard's band, this appears to be the Woody Herman orchestra with Maynard as the soloist.

I see members of the Boss Brass (Ex. Guido Basso). Tough to tell. I don't know the band that well. Or it could just be a studio band. A lot of the Boss Brass members would have also been top studio players.

Band is awful-it’s not MF’s band. Maybe first time reading down the chart? But the rhythm section is strong.
