I agree 100%. The first (caught) criminal President was pardoned and avoided prison. That was a big mistake because it gave the next criminally intend President courage to break the laws. I'm uncertain how the laws work in your country, but here in America, when a criminal defendant is out on bail, the defendant must not violate the terms of release. Certainly, Trump was read his rights during booking. He should have paid close attention to " you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say and do will be used against you in a court of law." His lawyers should have reiterated these points with him.
