I'm from Down Neck. I was 18 then and remember the neighborhood was more than ready for trouble!😂 From Penn Station on I saw 20 + guys on every block on Ferry St. Every hangout on Wilson Av was ready but nothing happened! Peaceful night overall!
Wow Newark started turning into shit in the 50s and 60s especially after the riots , a lot of people moved out and Newark hasn't been the same ever since. Unfortunately every city in America that is democratic run from top to bottom turns to shit!!
