This just randomly popped up in my recommendations. If this really is how God intended my life to go, if there really is something called "fate" then i'm happy getting to experience this moment. Para mi, el amor de Okabe hacía Mayuri es algo inefable. Va mucho más allá que el amor hacía una pareja, o el cariño a una hermana, Mayuri es como parte de Okabe, por eso mismo él siempre eligió salvarla, en SG;0 se ve cuando Okabe tuvo la oportunidad de salvar a Kurisu por encima de Mayuri, y lo hace, pero todo para que luego ella lo vea destrozado en su tumba de Mayuri, sin poder vivir... Le hizo una promesa a Kagari de salvar a su mama, y él le contesto que jamás dejaría a su "rehen". El hombre que fue capaz de desafiar al universo y logró su cometido para poder salvarla, su hikoboshi la salvó.
