Good job Luis these are my favourite videos, where you repair the broken part and don't just throw the whole unit in the bin

Hi Luis. Great Diagnosis and Repair, as usual. Believe it or not. The thing that Impressed me the most. Was using planks of wood on those ramps 👍. It makes driving up, so less stressful. Cheers for that. See you in the next one. 👏👏

Nice job Luis. Never thought about using resin . Learned something. Not that we change these things often but the ones we've done we went with selfmade brackets and drilling and tapping some stupidly small holes. Yes. For some reason I don't trust screws. Your system is easier and if you say it holds than I believe you and we will try it if a repair like that comes in.

HI THERE, I MUST ADMIT YOU HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB WITH THIS REPAIR. I ACTUALLY DO THIS FOR A JOB. THE HARD PART FOR YOU WILL BE GETTING THE BRUSH PLATE OF THE ARMATURE WITH OUT BRAKING IT. I WOULD ALSO SAY THAT YOUR REPAIR OF THE OLD MOTOR WILL FAIL TOO. BUT STILL A NICE IN DEEPTH VIDEO.

I guess you can probably drill some of them without risk the module integrity, but it might be an it and miss... unless there is some good based information where to drill etc... Thank you for watching and for your comment! 👍👍

@@LMAutoRepairs thahks for the reply i have been working on cars since mid 70 s yes the adhesive technology has come a long way but its in the back of my mind when the old glues failed i know they are putting together cars with glue and supposed to be stronger than weld but i like a weld or nut and bolt there was a time when if a mot tester saw a rivet it would fail porsch is made of rivets times change thank you

Totally agree... Sometimes it is also to do with how much the owners a are willing to spend... This was quick and simple, anything involving drilling, fabricate brackets, would ended up a completely different story... That is something that on the viewers side is not always seen... 👍👍👍

Hi Luis, great video. Have he same problem with my 2009 Mazda 3 . It has done about 212K miles ( 321K Km) . I’m considering getting a second hand ( lower mileage) ABS module, but was told it has to be the same serial number that is on the ABS Motor ( mine is 8V61-2C405-AE) and I have been told by my mechanic that it needs to be identical to this number. Was this the case with the motor that you ordered , and reattached to the module? I was wondering if you would have a clue a module ending in -AG would be compatible? Thanks in advance.

When I was a little boy, approx. 12 years old, I remember my father taping the engine block to the car because the engine block cracked due to the severe winter and the old permant inside. We drove the car like that. He drove for the next 2 years. We sold it that way and it never leaked water on that crack. Do not underestimate this type of glue because it is truly phenomenal!
