United Radio Service in East Syracuse NY fixed my amp for $225. This is a huge established company that's been in business for over 90 years. They provided a one year warranty.

Same prroblem here, AMP mos-fet transistors dead. I got this just 6 month after i acquired my new Mazd6 Spot . Neither Mazda nor Bose cares. An I was asked 2000EURO for an renewal !
Problem solved : must buy new bose amp gs1e 66 920a . Price different every country.. In finland mazda service said 1400 eu but i brought from turkey 800 eu + 160 eu tax.
No Name Don’t waste your money. The dealer should fix it for free it’s a manufacturing defect. Look at how many people is happened to. It’s a safety hazard and Mazda should issue a recall
Having the exact same issue with my Mazda 6. Was wondering how you just unhook it something like that to stop it from happening. I am not very car savvy so I'm not sure what to do, I'm not bothered if I can't use the radio.

Same issue here in Mazda 6 185 SL Not sure on what to do yet Had a really louse popping sound before everything went . Car on 200,000 M now and not sure if I want to spend any money on it … unless it’s a safety thing ?
Mine did the same over a year ago, only way to stop it was to pull the Bose fuse under hood. I figured it was the amp and only way to fix is to replace amp and deck (as outdated)
Sadly a 200k mazda here in Oz is still worth $7000 odd although I'm unfamiliar with what a 185 sl is here in Australia (is it the diesel version?). I'd say nothing to loose by putting aftermarket deck in even minus an amp as that's about the same power as the "Bose system". I can't take the silence anymore 😂. I could not get past the sound this made when it happened though (the vid doesn't do it justice) the fact that this short or problem occurs and overrides the main deck is mind boggling to me know how I've always put in BIG aftermarket stereo's in my cars in my cars.... and all of them when you power off the units would kill the amps due to the remote wires! How this thing took pulling a fuse to stop it is crazy ( about as crazy as the people looking at you when you're trying to explain the story)
Don't do it, the head unit doesn't have enough power for anything near decent sound. I removed the amp, spliced the head unit to the speakers, sound, but poor sound. I am not buying another Bose amplifier. Will purchase another brand.
Bose is that shit. Throw out the fuck. Put the normal system. For example, change your head on the alpine or on the pioneer and place the amplifier on the pioneer. Normal speakers buy 16 sizes. And you will be happy bro.) Greetings from Russia.)

Is it possible to tell me what are wires of black and green plug for mazda 6 GH ? I would like to do the same test. wire for Front left spkr intput/output, Front right spkr... Thank you.
Those pin outs would have been great. So next time when doing a bypass a steady shot on both connectors with wires in. Also use different coloured per connection for easier reading.
@@a1eee Hey Nick, were you able to resolve your audio issue with this? I have a similar problem- the two front door tweeters work but not the lower, bigger speakers. And the rear door speakers don't either.

@@RODRYCAR2114 ...lo que hice fue ver el video de este hombre y fui deduciendo los cables uno por uno...y fui probrando por mi cuenta ya que no se ve bien el video de este señor....aver si puedo aver algo para que lo puedas acer....ya te no tengo tiempo para nada y eso lo hice en el mio poco a poco semana tras semana ya que no tengo el tiempo necesario
