about to buy a 2021 Mazda3 G25 Evolve. Can't believe that Mazda Inc has not included hood struts as standard equipment on this make/model. Hood is extremely heavy.
Mazda has been cheeping out so badly lately seats are a joke n every single model’ I’ve had Mazdas for over 10 years I’m done with them’ if u haven’t bought do research and go else where mazda has gotten very bad and they do not stand behind warranty it’s Always your fault and they won’t fix a damm thing

I'd be a little cautious about fitting these. If they interfere with the Active Hood safety feature, you might lose your car insurance in a claim and if you hit a pedestrian and the hood doesn't pop correctly, you might find yourself sued for tampering with the cars safety systems. Just a thought.
Wtf r u talking about? Tampering with the car safety lmao dude no…. If you’re in a bad enough wreck this shit will smash it’s like cheap aluminum All it does is prop up the hood doesn’t give the hood added strength bro’ and they can’t deny u a claim for a bracket’
These struts should improve the safety of the hood closing, so a strong gust of wind doesn't dislodge an open hood from the prop rod and have it slam down on tow truck drive etc.....
