Anyone looking to modify the exhaust on this vehicle, do this first. Get the resonators cut off and simply just unbolt the stock mufflers before it connects to the stock y pipe. This is the best sound imo. Watch and see!
@@antonio36o36 Have you thought of adding a high flow resonator in there? Try looking into MBRP or Vibrant, they make good resonators. I would add some nice custom dual exit exhaust tips like on the newer gen, remove the Mazda 6 +V6 badge and tint the windows for a cleaner look.
@@pikachupowers yeah thought about it. Also thought about running maybe single exit exhaust n1 muffler. But right now I'm running quad tips. Plan on lowering it just a little and debadging the car here soon.
idk if you've modified your exhaust already. but do this first, get the resonators cut off, then unbolt the stock mufflers. watch how it sounds. not the most practical but it sounds amazing. Better than the exhaust setup I ran in this video imo.
The only reason I put a y pipe on mine is because if you remove factory bolt on exhaust. It removes the factory y pipe and then it's just a single exit exhaust. So I had to buy a y pipe to make it dual exit exhaust again. I'm not sure if it'll fit yours. I think your piping is 2.25 and the one I bought was 2.5"
You most likely will have to find the exhaust you want online and call around your local shops to see if they can install it and for how much. Just make sure you do your research.
Francisco Alvarado , Digamos que trae “tubería directa”, solo quito el resonador central y los 2 silenciadores , cambiándolos por tubos de 2.5 pulgadas . Espero haberte ayudado ;)
