Here is a quick and simple demonstration video on how to change the weak or dead battery in your Mazda CX 5. This process will be the same for any models that use this exact fob. You're going to want to remove the side that doesn't have the Mazda symbol by sliding the hatch and using your thumbs away from the latch. Then use the mechanical key to push the portion with the Mazda symbol outward. At this point, you have access to the battery hatch door. Open that, and replace the 2032 battery.
